You would do well to heed your own advice.

And boys, the "report" button works better than the "reply" button.

@gogoman86 :  Outside noise reduced significantly with doors closing more solidly. However road/tyre noise still there tho.
Reasonably cheap easy DIY item. thumbup.gif

Added on September 17, 2011, 11:21 amUPDATE  re Auto Brake Lock :

Hv discovered after reading post in BLM Club where a forummer reported that his OEM ABL does not need a separate UNLOCK button.

Yup, the Ori RESET button ( the black one nxt to the red Hazard Warning Lights button) works to UNlock ALL doors at any time after pressing brake pedal to lock them!! thumbup.gif

I hv oledi tested mine & it WORKS!!! The wonders of OEM items!! Works like Ori part of car!! rclxms.gif rclxm9.gif

after listen to ur feedback, feel excited to install it in shortest time drool.gif
btw, the tyre noise and rain water splash noise from tyre, i might thinking to add a layer of wheel liner to it something look like this :
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

i think our Saga lack of this liner which can work as sound proofing... sweat.gif

and about the Auto Break Lock, you mean after installing those OEM ABL which come without unlock button, we still can unlock the door by pushing the Alarm Reset button next to Hazard Warning button? hmm.gif

Any idea how much is the new FLX(CVT) gear box in case it's broken and need to change ?
Was looking at FL too and are considering which version(FLX or FL) saga is better.

just take the FLX
and not to say CVT...any kind of GB will cost u a fortune
and why u care so much abt broken and need to change
if u buy new car...everything is under warranty...anything broken, u can claim
and plus GB doesn't break like that if u service the GB accordingly...it has a lifespan of 200,000 KM

erm.. no one's replying my question... well though it is already discussed many times... but no conclusion was made... and not much about tyres to be found... huhu...

Anyway... i'll be changing tyre and sport rim... and afterwards maybe an auto break lock...

but just a simple question, will the auto break lock void the warranty? its because i just bought my FLX CVT and its my first car... biggrin.gif

the auto brake lock only void the alarm's warranty
it depends on which ABL u get...if u get what zeone get...might not void warranty cuz no wire cutting

Define problematic.

QUOTE(scorpion85 @ Sep 17 2011, 11:52 AM)
bad lo u.curse ur sis.hope ur sis crash dream materialised.=) do u know very near is what mean?refer to ur rnglish tutor.and i am 100% sure d sound system is a loss to myvi sound system(better sound quality, isn't?).and one thing siuyi saga blm club moderator,u r known among car clubs too to be a arrogant guy,no wonder u r bashed up with bad remarks by quite a number of people in kl.enjoy ur saga blm.
*
Saga CVT RM 44,998.00
MyVi Elegance RM 57, 400.00
Differences RM 12 402

Saga CVT RM 44,998.00
MyVi EZi RM 50,400.00
Differences: RM 5402

So from the above, I assumed that you so-called very near means 5k-12k is very near??
And how are you 100% sure that Saga BLM's (I assumed again since no car model stated there) sound system lousier than MyVi?

Btw about SiuYi reputation as club moderator, I personally think that he is doing a great job. Though people might see him as a devil, arrogant guy or what-so-ever, I strongly believed that if the club doesnt have him as moderator, there will be chaos when it comes to car number ordering. And please ask those "quite a number of people in kl" to come here, settle their problems with SiuYi..or do you actually the "quite a number of people in KL"?

And oh yeah. Hi Dupe.

Hi, i've been reading through many forums now but it seems like the answer to fuel efficiency is drive slower...

still, would like to ask this question... what actually improves FC??

from what i read (i might be changing these tomorrow)... these things listed reduces FC, do let me know if i'm wrong and do add if there is anything elso
1) Light foot  tongue.gif
2) Lightweight Sport rims
3) LRR type tyres such as Yokohama Cdrive2/Goodyear Assurance Fuelmax/ michelin energy XM2
4) Denso iridium spark plug (actully the efficiency of the fireing lightly reduces FC) but i searched and got many iridium denso spark plug and now am confused to buy which one
5) Cold air intake (i dont know how this looks like and how to mount one on the SAGA FLX)
6) ECU reset or change (this one not so sure)  rclxub.gif
7) anything else guys??

I've been reading through and these are the things that i found out i can do and not void the warranty, is it true?and is there anything else?

i really want FC and dont mind the performance as i am a student and not much cash to spend..

Owh, by the way. also read that for the price now, the ron97 gives less milage then the ron95, this is terms of price wise, but in terms of capacity, 40L ron 97 gives more milage then 40L ron 95...

But do bare in mind, the ron 97 juice is better for performance and good for engine...

Do correct me if i'm wrong yaa sifus..

Banned topics on the BLM Thread tongue.gif

- FC (has been discussed >9000 times already)

General rule of the thumb is that, if you want good FC, make sure your car is a manual. Or have your tires slightly over-inflated. Reduce your car load as well. Avoid jams. Light footed. Car maintained properly. etc etc etc.

- Engine oil (also has been discussed >9000 times)

Simple, if you have the money to spend, get fully synthetic engine oil. If not, most 10W-40 oils would work just fine. Brand doesnt matter much, nor does the viscosity.

- MYVI or Saga? Read the post above

Although this is my first Saga BLM thread, I've seen more than enough of people complaining of bad FC and what engine oil to use. Please do a simple search before asking. Saves your time and our time.

Bro which type of sound proof mat you are using??
Bitumen or Superlon??
Bitumen would be a better choice if you want a real solid sound proof feel,
but be prepared that ur door will feel heavier..

The stretch I am trying to hit the top speed is a really straight highway.

KL folks will know that MEX is like a KL's Autobahn. And the best part is, it has plenty of downslopes which definitely means hitting top speed isn't a problem biggrin.gif

D mode also mah. SAT useless one on straights.

I press till half see the rpm raise from 3,000 to 4,200 but speed dint even tickle beyond 141kph, so I ease of my throttle. Furthermore corner approaching.
