Hv discovered after reading post in BLM Club where a forummer reported that his OEM ABL does not need a separate UNLOCK button.

Yup, the Ori RESET button ( the black one nxt to the red Hazard Warning Lights button) works to UNlock ALL doors at any time after pressing brake pedal to lock them!!

I hv oledi tested mine & it WORKS!!! The wonders of OEM items!! Works like Ori part of car!!

for my FLX CVT, i havent try the max speed yet, but the fastest i tried is 170km/h at KESAS highway ( the speed still

after listen to ur feedback, feel excited to install it in shortest time 
btw, the tyre noise and rain water splash noise from tyre, i might thinking to add a layer of wheel liner to it something look like this :

i think our Saga lack of this liner which can work as sound proofing... 

and about the Auto Break Lock, you mean after installing those OEM ABL which come without unlock button, we still can unlock the door by pushing the Alarm Reset button next to Hazard Warning button?

Any idea how much is the new FLX(CVT) gear box in case it's broken and need to change ?
Was looking at FL too and are considering which version(FLX or FL) saga is better.

Anyway... i'll be changing tyre and sport rim... and afterwards maybe an auto break lock...

but just a simple question, will the auto break lock void the warranty? its because i just bought my FLX CVT and its my first car...

Hi, i've been reading through many forums now but it seems like the answer to fuel efficiency is drive slower...


still, would like to ask this question... what actually improves FC??

from what i read (i might be changing these tomorrow)... these things listed reduces FC, do let me know if i'm wrong and do add if there is anything elso
1) Light foot 
2) Lightweight Sport rims
3) LRR type tyres such as Yokohama Cdrive2/Goodyear Assurance Fuelmax/ michelin energy XM2
4) Denso iridium spark plug (actully the efficiency of the fireing lightly reduces FC) but i searched and got many iridium denso spark plug and now am confused to buy which one
5) Cold air intake (i dont know how this looks like and how to mount one on the SAGA FLX)
6) ECU reset or change (this one not so sure) 
7) anything else guys??

I've been reading through and these are the things that i found out i can do and not void the warranty, is it true?and is there anything else?

i really want FC and dont mind the performance as i am a student and not much cash to spend..

Owh, by the way. also read that for the price now, the ron97 gives less milage then the ron95, this is terms of price wise, but in terms of capacity, 40L ron 97 gives more milage then 40L ron 95...

But do bare in mind, the ron 97 juice is better for performance and good for engine...

- FC (has been discussed >9000 times already)

General rule of the thumb is that, if you want good FC, make sure your car is a manual. Or have your tires slightly over-inflated. Reduce your car load as well. Avoid jams. Light footed. Car maintained properly. etc etc etc.

- Engine oil (also has been discussed >9000 times)

Simple, if you have the money to spend, get fully synthetic engine oil. If not, most 10W-40 oils would work just fine. Brand doesnt matter much, nor does the viscosity.

- MYVI or Saga? Read the post above

Although this is my first Saga BLM thread, I've seen more than enough of people complaining of bad FC and what engine oil to use. Please do a simple search before asking. Saves your time and our time.

I bought the OEM type. Dun hv those Big or Small "D" choices.
Old lining has 2b removed & replaced by NEW
one.

All Sagas incl FLs came with the "Before" door edging only! Presumably FLX also same...knowing Proton! Haha!

bro zeone, after you install that rubber, did the car noise really decrease a lot or slightly? i'm thinking to install it too but looking for some comment about it 
your BLM is Manual or Auto? mine is FLX using CVT (AT)...

zeone: share with us  where did you the module from leh and also the rubber, i've put sound proof mat on my door though now a lot of ppl say got difference but, hesitating to spend extra when it might not make a difference wor. any inputs ah?

The stretch I am trying to hit the top speed is a really straight highway.

KL folks will know that MEX is like a KL's Autobahn. And the best part is, it has plenty of downslopes which definitely means hitting top speed isn't a problem 

u need to full accelerate down your pedal to the floor... when i drove up to 170km/h (at 5,500 rpm if i not mistaken), it was a straight flat road...
next time you try to flat down the pedal to the floor when u come to downslope and check the top speed u able to archieve... btw, i'm using D mode
