QUOTE(gogoman86 @ Sep 10 2011, 04:49 PM) yeah, same with my FLX, when the accelerate pedal is pressed around 1k rpm, the car not really move... That was due to rubber band effect. one thing i don't like about the CVT is when we going slow (traffic jam), the CVT act weird like chocking when moving slow... btw, i just fuel-up my car again, 3rd time now. RM47 for 357km. From the calculation, 13 cent per KM, and 7.0 L/100KM... Check your tires, especially the front make sure it is 210~220. Before this I experience same problem. After fill in recommended tyre pressure, release brake only, car will move already. Now I even got more confidence to "curi ayam" during traffic jams. BTW, looks like your ECU has learn to drive economically. Mine 100km/h 2500~2600rpm. haha QUOTE(17osm17 @ Sep 10 2011, 07:13 PM) yup. Interior also more insulated. Today drive 120 also tak rasa macam 120. |

QUOTE(LizStephenie @ Sep 10 2011, 11:10 PM) goodmah, got clown like me make ppl here laugh. Or else everyone on serius mode talk about FC, engine oil, FC, engine oil, FC, engine oil till face become long edi. XD QUOTE(gogoman86 @ Sep 10 2011, 11:23 PM) why must use SAT mode for genting route? SAT mode is use to simulate 6-speed transmission feeling only, no different in performance on that route, the transmission will just stay on mid rpm (around 3000~4000rpm), which is the part where peak torque is available. The S4PE's sweet spot is at 4,000 rpm. Stay on that sweet spot, not only your car could climb without any hassle, every single drop of fuel is utilized to produce the engine's peak power. The SAT software is quite intelligent as it will not shift up unnecessarily and hence, lesser power loss. if use SAT mode, your rpm will keep raising to higher and lower and higher, this will result in higher FC (if i not mistaken) gogoman86 | Elegant Brown - 1.3L Executive In D mode, it keeps on staying at 1,500-2,500 rpm and needs a great deal of throttle mashing in order to climb. Unless you intend to climb from Gohtong Jaya to the peak at speed below 20km/h, by all means just go ahead and stay at D. |

QUOTE(plain_white @ Sep 11 2011, 01:35 AM) guys, just now i forgot to put down my handbrake while driving and i only realized it after driving for 5-6 km. I really feel worried and scared that i have done some damage to my brake and engine. Worst still i just got it for a day. Really sakit hati now. Should i take my my car for check...I know i'm noob 5-6km considered short lah,so dont worry nothing major will happen. Stupid Americans does that all the time and their mileage could stretch up to 200km+. Take this as a lesson so that next time you'll remember to release the handbrake. In fact I did the same mistake too with my father's car. Till now the car is running strong. Since you're driving a CVT, make it a habit to check the handbrakes with your left hand. I put my left hand on the handbrake lever all the time when I'm cruising. Unless I'm having my nicotine intake, then my left hand is on the wheel. Why a lot people always thought CVT is another type of valve timing control?

Continuous Variable Transmission
Manual Transmission thats why some SA will still say Saga FLX AT. Don't want customer to confuse. In fact when I bought my car, the SA told my parents "it has new engine which has CVT". Lucky my knowledge is better that that SA's. |

QUOTE(mroys@lyn @ Sep 11 2011, 03:37 PM) @eric The center got one round round thing which looks like a water tumbler. That's actually can be used as ashtray also. mroys@lyn | Blue Rock - FLX1.3E Auto Just got the car today. suspension a bit hard. may be due to tyre pressure. 1 question, the car got ashtray (aka coins storage)???? thx, tapi, tak eloklah keep puntung rokok in the car. make car smells. QUOTE(daMieNyuZry @ Sep 11 2011, 05:30 PM) ya ya ya....i agree... that paultan is in a test vehicle, of coz will mash that throttle since it is not his car and petrol. I've managed to bring the car up to 120km/h till date and the rpm never goes beyond 3000rpm. a lot people thinks that high rpm is co-related with high speed due to the nature of conventional auto/manual transmission cars, but that's not the case for CVT. |

QUOTE(plain_white @ Sep 11 2011, 10:49 PM) i think probably there's a problem with my fuel indicator la...yesterday after pump full tank it's already dropped 1 bar just after 30+km. Then just now, i try pump petrol again to see how much i've used but surprisingly the pump stop after RM5.40. Then when i check the fuel indicator again it's still 5 bars...is it normal for new car to get used with the fuel level or should i be concerned...sorry coz i'm very noob in car...just got my 1st car yes, it is normal. The Campro will be more fuel efficient after the first and/or second service. My first tank also, 3 bars last around 109km only. |
