Just to see what it does... been scouting the past threads, read about the reset ECU tongue.gif
Btw, my first gear kinda jerks when moving from a complete stop. When press pedal, RPM >1k then baru gerak, if lower than 1k, its like doesn't respond, just revving sad.gif
*
yeah, same with my FLX, when the accelerate pedal is pressed around 1k rpm, the car not really move... sweat.gif
one thing i don't like about the CVT is when we going slow (traffic jam), the CVT act weird like chocking when moving slow... shakehead.gif i wondering, if we can ask the SC to remap or reprogram the timing for CVT... hmm.gif
btw, i just fuel-up my car again, 3rd time now. RM47 for 357km. From the calculation, 13 cent per KM, and 7.0 L/100KM... thumbup.gif

I discovered a QC issue with my 1 day old FLX.

The place to press the horn on the steering wheel is like a T-shape. I press left side and bottom, no sound. Only press right side, there is sound.

New owners may wanna check this.

-------

Another thing to note (although this is a non-issue):
If you use a USB pen drive to plug into the front module:
- your pendrive must be formatted to MS-DOS. For Mac users, pls take note.

(edited).
*
the USB stick should format to FAT or FAT32 format only... (NTFS format not confirmed)... laugh.gif

BTW, those who wish to go Genting with their FLX, please use the SAT mode. D takleh harap.  grumble.gifgrumble.gif
*
why must use SAT mode for genting route? SAT mode is use to simulate 6-speed transmission feeling only, no different in performance hmm.gif
if use SAT mode, your rpm will keep raising to higher and lower and higher, this will result in higher FC (if i not mistaken) shakehead.gif

Intro of CVT Sagas is to offer 2ppl an improved city-drive car (acceleration is therefore NOT IMPORTANT) with improved F* but c/w all the other good points of Sagas (eg Lotus Ride/Handling) coupled with ABS, EBD which its rival is offering...all @very attractive pricing!! rolleyes.gif

A natural & expected industry competition in survival as to who can provide the Best & Affordable ride, namely Value for Money... thumbup.gif

Lotus Ride/Handling? If you look at the FLX brochures, there's no more 'Lotus' Ride/Handling but replaced with 'Proton' Ride/Handling... laugh.gif

Sent my car to Cheras SC for the CVT leaking. Leaking is gone. But they want to investigate the jerkiness of the car. Let them lah rolleyes.gif
*
finally done my 1st service at Jalan Kebun SC near Klang... costed me RM153 for all changed part.

i also complain to them about the transmission jerking during slow drive (happen when traffic jam), they also can't answer me what's wrong with it. they only suggest me go to the main service centre beside the KESAS highway to re-programme and re-tune the timing for CVT... hmm.gif

btw, just now i went to Kapar, after my 1st service.
what i did, i press the pedal to the floor, the top speed i manage to reach is 170km/h @ 5,200rpm on straight road, but i slowed down my car due to overpass/flyover bridge (worry speedtrap tongue.gif)...
i think this car can go over 170km/h during down hill sweat.gif

during high speed drive up to 170km/h, i feel the car still stable for me. but i heard some comment from the forumer the car not stable when speeding, maybe due to the tyre alignment and balancing.

not exactly the correct distance, we can go earlier or later... for me 1000km 1st service, i drove til 1500km+ then only go for service

QUOTE(MR_alien @ Sep 12 2011, 03:03 PM)
RM153 surely is 5000KM

Got reason to lower the car and masuk sport springs brows.gif tongue.gif

Anyway, just got back from fetching my car.
They:

1. Stop leak
2. Erase and check trouble code (dunno wat trouble code, forgot to ask)
3. Adjust petrol pipe at fire wall

The results I didn't really notice yet coz my mind was clouded by something else... will update later.
