he is using the same ssd as mine also speed is really incredible. Really nothing takes longer than 1 second to open up(well at least so far what i have). Boot time without tweaking 12seconds, with a lot of programme installed xD

Ya, maybe coz your bro uses the old DDR2 RAM, so upgrading that would cost more than DDR3 type..

Older batch with another 4GB RAM upgrade costs only RM 2630 (best I can get from LY)....... Just the machine alone with the standard accessories is with RM 2580 price.....

Just hope the new batch is worth the wait that's all.....

Do u swap old HDD with optical drive using caddy or simple keep aside the HDD? If u use caddy, what type, where buy, what price? Does N45 use same caddy with N55?

i put ssd in my old hdd place and my hdd at my optical drive place with a caddy. Caddy, u have to try ur luck on garage sales. I ordered mine from amazon. N45SF uses universal caddy with 12.7mm thickness. N55SF i dunno

yes it does void warranty technically speaking. But there isn't any warranty sticker or anything else around there. So if u wanna claim warranty, just change back to what it used to be and send for warranty.
