Dear Desire Buyer of N55,


Today I went there walk around to check around see if the new batch of N55SF - S2353V arrive...

Most of the seller said that new N55SF haven't arrive yet,need to wait about one or two weeks coming in a new batch of N55SF.

I've make a lot of enquiry about the resolution thing & they claims that previous or new N55SF only comes with 1366 x 768 resolution,there is no such thing as 1600 x 900. Some of them even said "Guarantee"

And FINALLY,I manage to find one of the Asus shop that selling a NEW N55SF - S2353V comes with 750GB(7200 rpm) & 1600 x 900 resolution!

I approached the Seller asking him how come he is selling 1600 x 900 res but others just sell 1366 x 768 res? I was been told that they are the "Primary" dealer with Asus Malaysia,so they can get a better offer & resolution blah blah blah...

At first I just take a look & try the demo set,then he offer me a fair price with this lappy & come to the end,I can't tahan the offer so I grab it immediately

Pls remember to check the lappy immediate when after you buy,take ur time to check what ur desire N55 system plus resolution.You know,a lot of dishonest laptop seller @ lowyat

Anyway,hopefully this survey will lead to all intention buyer

Agree too,even latest issue Asus brochure didn't mentioned any N45,just N55...

A few problem i have encounter with this laptop,need some help here;

1)While I'm playing movie,i turn the volume up to 60 or above,it will came up a #buzz# sound coming from right side of trackpad...I mean,is it Normal??

2)How to test my Boot Time there?need to install 3rd party software to test?

the Windows always appear "Window Stop Working" then after appear "Restarting Window",how to solve this problem as well?

Yeah,the nearby HDD,I have no idea if the sound really that Kuat boom till shaking or the sound came from HDD

Do you guys apply any laptop skin for N55? i would like to find it since very easily get finger print & scratch (i think)...

Yes,I 'm with 2 years(Global) + 2 years(Local Seller) Warranty,

Warranty excluded screen broken,battery & adapter,the rest they "pao"

Yeah,I paid them RM100 for extend two years warranty,the shop called "Evernew Protection"

Still no solution yet,already tried the best i can...I think i should make a further enquiry from them.

Yeah, 2 years cover by Asus,aonther 2 years by them(Evernew)

No,after 2 years will by cover by themselves(seller),they "claim" that 100% of replacement with Asus's genuis laptop part,not 3rd party...

Who knows after 2 years later,maybe they would change to 3rd party parts without notice.I would not realize after all

What kind of bag you guys using to carry this lappy?

Asus Slim bag REALLY that fit only with the lappy & adapter,no big enough to carry other items...

Btw,any recommended messenger bag to carry this lappy?

Before you returning to them,pls take note for few things;

1st,every laptop have a individual serial number & windows serial .If you worry that they give you back the same laptop.

2nd,take your time checking everything(especially Sub-woofer),check immediate to avoid any circumstances.for sure,take your time.

3rd,ask them to show you the computer perfomance,check everything re-confirm is it as same as you requested.

Anyway,just take your time,if you in rush,i'm sure you will missed something,since IT thing always need to be check out before make any purchase.

I would like to get one too,but no idea where to find it...

Btw,is it all standard size?mine is 15.6"

Burn into DvDs and send by post to me,no need to dl with low speed
