QUOTE(Sridev Pro Designer @ Oct 16 2011, 01:59 PM) I don't think there will be white Nx5 in Malaysia and most of the laptop / notebook got usb 3.0 Maybe you could Email Asus about this... I checked their brochure, most of the notebooks are now using 7200rpm HDD i think i post on their fb wall and ask when will have either n45/n55 white colour in malaysia |

Question: Sometimes when I go to shut down my laptop, it will prompt me with this:
"Please do not power off or unplug your machine, installing update" I can never tell when this is going to happen. Don't mind it when I'm at home but if I am outside and need to rush off somewhere or have almost no power left, this is a pain in the butt. What can I do about it? Why does it not prompt me for an update when I am in Windows? What are these updates anyway? Are they necessary? Thanks, looking forward to some answers. |

Correct me if Im wrong Hmm isn't it possible to choose to do them at another time??? They come in the most untimely fashion, and it takes a while to finish.I have experienced that situation before. I was literally rushing and boom, it shuts down with 2% stuck-for-15 minutes. The computer has essentially exited Windows already and goes to that blue screen just before shutdown, and that is when the update happens. Sometimes it's installing 1 of 1 updates, but sometimes it could be 1 of 12 updates. Gahhh!!! Sooo there is no way around this? |
