Guys,

Any idea when the 750GB (7200 rpm) N55F going to be out. And if any sifu here know if the price is the same as of now? Currently retail price for 640GB is at 2699 with 2430 specs....

Just curious if the newer N55F will have the same price or a slightly higher price.

One more thing is that, will there be extra heat generated for a 7200 rpm and a 5400 rpm hard disk? I am curious though. Planning to get this model, but the specs is going to be refreshed, as the catalogue already been advertising the same. So, hope to get some opinion here.....

My 5400rpm HDD temps are usually below 40C although the CPU heats
So I don't think it would make much difference...

Hmm... 3 years software warranty? hmm.gif What it meant by that? I heard that Asus is only giving 2 years warranty (hardware/software) only right at the max?

Bro,
Can I know at which shop you have purchased from at LY?

Older batch with another 4GB RAM upgrade costs only RM 2630 (best I can get from LY)....... Just the machine alone with the standard accessories is with RM 2580 price.....

Just hope the new batch is worth the wait that's all.....

Guys,

Any news when the new N55F will be out there in major stores? I heard Evernew is banned from selling that model till the next announcement from ASUS.... any idea..... sigh.... pain of waiting ya >.<.......

Saw that the heat is centered on the palm rest on the previous few post... how "HOT" is that? I have an ASUS A42JV bought two years back, and only the top left side will be warm when grinding the NVIDIA card... aside from that, it's pretty good.....

Just hope that plastic can last that kind of heat which you guys are referring here >.<

I am still wondering if n55sf now in the market is already refreshed with the 750GB 7200rpm hard disk? I wonder if the upcoming PIKOM PC Fair, will ASUS have any booth or not to showcase the same?
