Set the preset modes to "cool" then set the brightness and contrast that fit your eyes.

FUH ! Set to preset modes ??

That is TOO BLUEISH !

Come on just use custom RGB tweak until the white becomes real white color instead of tend to brown/blue

I finally got the LG IPS236V-PN but haven't tried it out because the seller sealed it in a box.

I wanted to get the Dell's U2312HM but this LG was sold to me at RM 450 for a month old usage. 3 years warranty. biggrin.gif

The price was difficult to resist. Can't wait to try out tonight. rclxms.gif

HP also using LG panel.
White can be seen as white, unlike Samsung, AOC etc...

Once everything is hooked up, you should be able to enable extended desktop in Nvidia's control panel. Simple as that biggrin.gif

With ATI cards, you can power more than 3 monitors with one card. However, I'm not too sure with Nvidia as I haven't used one for a while.

You *may* not be able to use DVI & HDMI at the same time and may need to resort to using DVI + VGA, or HDMI + VGA. This is especially true with certain motherboard's IGP as they tie the digital output together and only one connection can be used at one time.

He! He! After reading this... I kinda syiok sendiri.
Wanna ask...
If I put up 2 monitors...
When I play game, a fullscreen game, can the other monitor used as doing other thing like surfing and etc?
Coz, then, my old monitor can be utilised. He! He! He!...

For such setup, will it drain the CPU usage? I mean if I built a new rig, i5 2500k, SSD, 8GB ram, GTX 560 Ti GC...
Playing some online game, will it make the whole system too slow or someting? Thanks.
And by the way, the LG IPS236V-PN, can it be wall mounted or I need the orignal stand no matter how...

The IPS236V-PN supports VESA mounting, which means you can mount it to a wall. smile.gif

Anyway, you can use your extra monitor to display other things on your desktop and et cetera. However, from my experience if you want to access the other screen you will have to alt-tab out of the game first if it's in full screen mode, which is pretty much pointless since it minimizes the game, unless you run your game(s) under windowed mode.

Performance wise it shouldn't be affected significantly unless the game is extended or stretched across to the other screen.

Ohhhhhh... doh.gif
So, when I alt+tab, that game will be minimise instead?
Was hoping that at 1 monitor, I can surf, MSN, LYN...
Another one the game is still running.
So, let's say an online game, I am farming, I can let it run while I surf on the other one.

So, what you are saying now is... if I ALT+TAB, that game will be minimised eventhough I am working on another monitor but I cant see the game running?

It will be like that unless you set your game to run in windowed mode. smile.gif

Well even in windowed mode you still need to ALT+TAB out of it and the game will still be stalled. However, you would still see the game on screen instead of it minimized to the taskbar.

If you want full independent control, you will still need a second pc hooked up a it. A laptop/netbook would do. You can switch the second monitor back to the main pc when you are done.

Judging from his posts he just want to be able to see the game he's running while browsing through the net and et cetera from the other, so windowed mode for his game(s) will do fine. biggrin.gif And well, games don't generally "stall" unless you pause them via the menu or something, or are you referring to the stall where he won't be able to do anything on the game other than watch?

Very plain and huge bezel width.
I would expect the price is higher than Dell offering, but with WLED, wonder if it really can pulls out those specifications stated.
Need some reviews... hmm.gif
