New Samsung 40" LCD TV just arriving today. Just want to ask if anyone ever experienced connecting it to pc & I plan to use my unused computer parts to make HTPC.Intel C2D6300 @1.86 Ghz should be fine right?
Maybe also other tips using LCD TV with HTPC?

I have similar spec with yours

but with 4GB ram, and a low profile grapghic card (Just a low end 1 with HDMI connection)
BTW I use VGA to connect instead, digital connection did not work out for me (not sure why)

Did you have to calibrate the colours or were they just fine out of the box?

They were good for me right out of the box

in my opinion these dells are perfect for gaming + photo editing

the xtra resolution really helps

GeneSkill, i would recommend to put the side monitor slight turn inwards to get the gaps (blakc bar) between monitor minimized.

Yea putting the side monitors turned inwards would cover part of those ugly bezels

LED Monitors = LCD with LED back-lighting.

just to share on Dell Monitor, if you have time, try to lurk around the online chat at Dell.com.my during the morning, write them what you want, they will send you a quotation via e-mail, which I got is cheaper than the online buying.

The Sales Consultant will also leave a phone contact as well inside the e-mail. Thanks.

Immediately purchased one.
