Cut off the bottom part of 1.5 little minimal water and the small bottle (small bottle is to come out from the water surface) 2. join the 2 bottles tip together (i put rubber band in the between to get tight rip) 3. cover up those plant affected by BBA 4. pour 0.5ml- 1.0ml seachem excel to the bottle tip 5. let the plant soak for one hour or more 6. say bye bye to the BBA » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « this is so hardcore hahaha awesome This post has been edited by michanz: Oct 21 2011, 12:05 PM

hi all;
i think i overfed my tetra. the excess/uneaten food is somewhat becoming shrouded with this web-like algae. so, my question is, how to clean/get rid this web-like algae (looks like spider web blanketing the excess food)?
coz that thingy is at the bottom of the aquarium. sticking itself on the pebbles.
if i buy those majlis bandaraya fish (sticking itself at the aquarium), will it solve the problem?
thanks y'all

IMO those bandaraya fish will dig into the gravel and may damage your plants.
Anyhow...anyone know where can 1 find Azoo Hi-PL 18W lights?
been looking everywhere but cant find. or can anyone recommend some other brand. it cannot be longer than 21cm as that is no place for anything longer.

Just put some anti chloride if you scare, 1 botol RM1 can last you very very long already.

better to catch it out and treat it seperately. 0.3% salt will do the trick.

I'm planning to start a planted moss aquarium without co2 system by getting some stuff including the fire moss or other moss plants from weijie, is the normal ceiling light sufficient for the moss? Is there any liquid drop that i drop into the aquarium to prevent the grow of algae? I saw 1 in a fish shop, duno is it effectiveor not..

IMHO, better use filter water. if you using tap water, you wouldnt know when they do service and maintenance on pipe. A small mistake will kill all your shrimps in 1 day. if you want to dose algae killer medicine, check the ingredient first. NO COPPER is allow if you want to keep shrimps. if ceiling light can be used to grow moss and plants, then aquazonic/glo/dymax dont need to design such expensive light for us This post has been edited by weijie: Oct 22 2011, 05:22 PM

And for the substrate, do i need to put amazonia soil 1st or lava rock after the 5 elements?
