if you want cheap fish go to FS near pelita nasi kandar sungai dua. but limited choice.
i usually go to CTY burma road to cuci mata. biggrin.gif

i went to CTY at Burma road during my last vacation to penang on hari raya.
their planted tank doesnt seems attractive.
and it is quite poorly maintained.

however, the outdoor pool with aro inside is very nice.
They sell lots of equipments but display is lack of maintenance.

KW at Ayer Itam << "must visit" place for my next trip to penang smile.gif

hehe finally my 2nd batch of bristle nose pleco has just breed in my planted tank~ sharing a video clip of some of the babies~ and this time some white ones came out~ wonder if they were albinos...haha

dear all sifu here,

i'm newbie who have a small glass aquarium and plan to start my 1st planted aquarium..i wan to ask that:

- can i setup the aquarium without the co2 system? it looks like expensive...
-can tell the price range for the aquasoil and the powersand?
- how do u guys control the water hp and temprature?
- do v need to clean the aquarium? by using the gravel vacumn?

Guys, wanna ask. I just rescaped my tank. What do you do with the "old" fishes?

I have an over grown SAE and few rummy nose and cardinals. I wanna give away but in Kk now, any kaki here?

What do you guys do with an overgrown SAE. About 12cm...

too much lighting will cause ur temp to rise also... try put ur hand under the light then u will know smile.gif

question.

the fans that is used to cool the water. do you guys keep it on 24/7?

the temperature, particularly on rainy days will drop down to about 25C is that ok?
other wise it will be slightly over 26C.

i keep it on 24/7, off during clean up or maintenance only biggrin.gif

dun worry, 25-26C.. still can take it

unless u want very specific, then go for temperature controller.. hahaa

normal shrimp/fish able to take small temperature swing
