Err... Enough hiding place or not? Must be like jungle so they got lots of place to hide.

hmm.gif Cause I think the reason the population dwelling is because of the fish. They are taking them as snacks, especially during their moulding where they are the most vulnerable. Last time I had a dozen harlequines with 30 RCS, they finished them off in a months time. Only 2 survivors, and that was because they were sucked into the filter. If your serious about breeding them, you need to get rid of the fishes, including the SAEs.

Haha...i dont think i'm able to get them out because i got no place to place them T_T. And i hate yamato so much always chase out the RCS for the food.
I will try to look for a place to house all my fish if possible. Besides, is there any chances to get high grade of RCS from low grade of RCS?

then, 2 drops everyday for treatment; 5 drops for once a week
for other ADA ferts, try apply brighty K (1 pump) & brighty step 1 (1 pump) every week for a tank > 2 mths
after trimming, u can use green gain, & green bacter (2 or 3 drops for both)

Is it possible to just use any container at home and use it as a aquarium?

I mean without the filter and all... maybe to rear tetra fish. Do enlighten me! smile.gif

Reason: Just to see how's my initial interest is like... if more interested, then I'd get a proper aquarium+light+filter smile.gif

Get a small aquarium set. Most shops have that kind of offer set starter kit. Can get the whole thing for less than RM80. I saw some shops even selling it at RM50. Fish keeping require a decent filter to circulate the water and clean the fish waste.
You would'nt want to live in a toilet too, right? smile.gif

it is not recommend to keep betta with tetra cause if ur tetra too small, they willbecome betta's food

most fish their lifespan is about 1 to 3 years... it's hard to say "susah mati"
it depend on how u spend ur time take care of them (effort).

if you doubt that you can keep this hobby for long period, why not get a second hand unit from other member?
one feet tank should cost around rm50 for one full set of equipments.

1 feet 4inch wide, 1 feet 8 inch high.
6mm glass cost RM85. silicon glue cost RM5. time to built=2hours.

overflow because my current tank always got oily surface. so, to get rid of the ioly thing i choose overflow.
