wow how did you get 820km for 30L ~27km/l? is it RON97 petrol?
now I am only averaging 550km for 32L ~ 17km/l..... but 90% city driving with 40% driving in carparks/jams ^^
Just for statistics as I had made quite a long work trip today.
Car still new, odo reading about 2,000km.
Pump my tank full with RON95 this morning, reset trip. One driver & one passenger on front seat, with 2 laptops, 1 full set PC, 1 printer and some wirings and tools filling up the whole trunk.
1) Puchong to Taiping on highway 110 - 120km/h - 7am to 10am (cool ambient temperature)
2) Taiping to Simpang Pulai on same highway. (hot day)
3) Simpang Pulai to Parit on old trunk road 70 - 100 km/h (hot day)
4) Parit to Sitiawan on trunk road 70 - 100km/h (hot day)
5) Sitiawan to Seri Manjung on trunk road 70 - 100km/h (hot day)
6) Seri Manjung to Kuala Selangor on trunk road 80 - 100km/h (drizzle)
7) Kuala Selangor back to Puchong on trunk road & highway (evening drizzle)
My low-fuel warning light came on when I reach Sungai Besar (on route 6 from Seri Manjung to Kuala Selangor). Trip meter reading at that time was 735km. Only manage to pump in 31 liters of petrol before my tank is completely full again. So I got my FC calculated to about 23.7km/l. The car ECU calculated it as 22.9km/l.
I noticed FC is slightly higher on hot day drive as aircond compressor comes on more frequent, causing drag to engine, which in turns make driver step on accelerator harder to keep up with speed, which make the odo turns light or dark blue more frequent.
Have another trip coming up which involves more night and pre-dawn driving, will see how much different in FC for that one.
