actually i dont ever know shes pregnant!!! too bad!

she stay with her boy... demnn my fault!
i let her be with her boy only for 2days
suddenly shes giving birth in same cage with boy..
shes eating shes own babies not the male...
i dont ever think she was preg!

You should have NEVER placed a male & a female hedgehog in the same cage for any amount of time, I'm sure you know.
She ate them because you should have taken the male hedgehog out right after you found out she had babies.
I've read on Chins&Hedgies where someone had the same issue as you.
I hope you've removed the male.

No, not recommended. I've seen the largest one & it won't fit an adult hedgehog once your hedgie grows older. Not a wise investment.

now, i've remove them.. each them have their own cage..
actually she giving birth in my working time.
i dun have idea when..

i also buy 1pair hedgehog with 3 their babies (package)..
hope this can release my pain of my mistake..
im now enjoying play with their babies..
hope this mistake can be experience to me..

both their parents very langsi one.. everytime i want to touch them they hissing n jumping2... like never met people.. huh!

now im try breed superworm... now only have around 9 kumbang in my mini superworm farm hehehe..

I bought RM3 of superworm, put them in container with oats and carrots, for feeding my hedgie and hamster. The biggest 12 superworms i take them out and put inside fishing hook box. 3 days has passed. No result

Depends how hard they chomp down, I guess.
My dad was bitten before & his finger was just fine.
The tip is try not to pull away when they bite (I know it goes against your basic instinct but stop pulling away if it refuses to let go) & blow in their face. They will let go.

Dont worry, their bites are not pain also

@ EugeneLowPNG : I don't feed my hedgies supermeal worms.
I stopped feeding them mealworms last week because I got too lazy to clean up after the mealworms. I just stopped feeding the mealworms & let them starve to death. xD

btw i found out that the poop of my hedgie after he had meal worms, the poop smells like belacan..
its sticky too!!
if he oni had those cat dry food then the poop will just be nice like a pebble...
lolx...
