I see all your hedgehog i so jealous! My hibari so antisocial. She still huffs whenever i approach her.. or make sudden movement
*

Try putting some old tshirt which you have worn in Hibari's 'house', make her smell you all the time smile.gif
Also, try waking her up by offering a super worm or her fav snack, BRIBERY WORKS!
My Daisy will eagerly come to the side of the cage when she hears me coming, coz she knows that i have some treats for her!! brows.gif

Not really. Mine does not bite me at all. But she's still scared of me.. It wont really run away. That time my hedgehog escape , i found it under my sofa.

no. You touch them you wont bleed , unless when you touch the spike , and the hedgehog jumping then it will prick you. No it cant shoot the quills , that is porcupine. This is a hedgehog

Hey all, i'm kinda interested in having a hedgehog as a pet after seeing wilsonjay's post in kopitiam. but i've got 1 question, are hedgehogs sensitive to loud sounds? Coz i'm a music lover and i usually turn on the music quite loud.

If I'm not wrong they are very sensitive to a sudden loud noise and its not recommended to on your music dat loud around your hedgehog.
I'm not a sifu in hedgehog, so dont conclude anything from here and welcome others views as they are much pro in it. Peace!

Hi, I got an albino female hedgehog, d.o.b was 21 january 2011. I was just wondering, wat her weight should actually be and what size? And another thing is, I let my friend kept her for 1 week, but delayed, so only took back after 2 weeks, and thanks to my friend, there's like black stain on her spikes, i tried bathing her with johnson baby shampoo, the stain DID NOT fade even a little, I was thinking of using apple cider vinegar, will it help/harm the hedgehog? or wat would you recommend? thanks.

After they get familiar with you, theirwill actually lower their quil and not as sharp and spikyanymore, you can actually pet them but the feeling is not the same as petting cats or dogs because its full of quil instead of fur laugh.gif
