5 days is okay if you use those dog-size feeding bowl for both food and water but not more than one week.

my hedgehog gave birth during CNY and i don't wanna stress her out. so i've tested and found out that the food can last for a week.

however, make sure that the bowl is large enough.. the price is around RM 7. made of clay.

Ok,tat reliefs by wories.thanks.nest,I'm planin on a young hedgie(arnd 2 months old) wud it be ok to house him in pt2310 faunarium? 18"x12"x6" .tiz wud be a temp hs for few 4-5 months n then later I will chenge to the bigger toyogo box.curently I gt mur then 10 of tat faunariums...so jz wana make use of tat 1st.pls give ur opinion.tq.

Arawin92 - 18"x12"x6" (6' is the height rite?, if it is, then ur hedgie will be easily escaped from the container)

u r in JB rite? y dun u go 2 Giant Tampoi o Tesco in KSL n get a container box, I got mine around RM20,450x340x270mm, FELTON brand

The faunarium got cover with good ventilation.I prefer to use tiz cz looks much better.n save space.its nt bout the $ for buying the box.its mur to looks.hehe.I tink I'll go ahead with it.cz the dimension of the box u using is same as the faunarium except the height is shorter.thanks guys.hmmm...wat mur shud I knw ah...tinkin...

all depends on you if u can make sure ur hedgie will sit in d box quietly. where are you goin 2 get ur hedgie? cost?

I haven decide.tot of getting a pair(of cz will pt then in separate cage).or maybe jz 1 1st.my location is kajang.so anyone in kl area wana sell hedgie at good price? :-)

Hedgehogs that are 1 years old & above eat RC32.
RC36 is meant for hedgehogs below 1 years old as it contains a higher percentage of fat than RC32.

Again, leaving a hedgie unattended for more than 3 days is not recommended.
However, if you really have no choice, make sure you put a LOT of water (make sure it won't tip over/get pooped or peed on) & plenty of kibble.

I see all your hedgehog i so jealous! My hibari so antisocial. She still huffs whenever i approach her.. or make sudden movement
