Does anyone have any idea why my personal loan was rejected? Loan amount RM10,000 and monthly salary is RM4000. No bad credit rating (or maybe no credit rating at all either because this would've been my first loan).

u need to check with bank, then see if after lock in period is cheaper or paying the penalty is cheaper blush.gif

QUOTE(suchap69 @ Oct 19 2011, 12:38 AM)
yes eng tat....

i was thinking abt the same amount as u mentioned... but now the total full settlement amt is rm70500, i dont know abt lock in period and penalty rate, forgot to ask about it.... might be the diff between rm70500 and rm67950 is the penalty right?

can u suggest the best way to minimise the total settlement cost?

thanks

Yes I have EPF deduction and the application was with HSBC. They advised me to go for the type of loan where the bank just looks at your maximum limit for a credit card of another bank and grants you a loan in that amount instead of the loan where you submit your payslips and EPF deduction.

Yes, you still can get approval.

As long as don't appear more than "3"

"3" still can try but "4" confirm can't

Any recommendation for PL for around 25k for (around 500 per month installment)? A rough check through, seems that Alliance bank have the lowest, around 8.88% pa. After I check Bank Islam, seems like more lower, around 6-7% pa.Just now sure how the calculation method and application process.

Yup, lower rate. But not all people can apply. SELECTED or LIMITED Public Listed Companies & Private Limited Companies as categorized under package companies listed by Bank Islam.
