QUOTE(sleyer @ May 21 2013, 08:49 PM) refer on this web http://www.imoney.my/personal-loancan anyone explain what mean : 7.60% Effective interest rate: 13.97% It means that the actual interest rate that you're paying is 13.97% instead of 7.6% because the interest instalment is calculated based on the same fix loan amount eventhough you are already reducing the outstanding balance owed. Unlike housing loan whereby interest calculated are based on reducing balance therefore paying lesser interest. Personal loan is always charged at high interest as it is an unsecured loan whereby housing loan, the bank has your house as collateral. Hope this will help you to understand.

i have a question here, is there any personal loan for student@diploma? i mean easy loan approval. i dont have salary slip and such that. i wanna loan 10k to buy used car because i have 15k in hand. i pretty sure can pay them monthly without any problem. so is there any bank that has easy approval? doesnt matter if the interest is high around 3-5k. i know this is such a stupid question, but i just wanna know. hehe have a nice day

Why don't u just apply for car loan as the interest rate is much more lower compare to p.loan.

If you apply personal loan from the bank of your npl/delinquent credit card. They wont approve. Better try to apply from other banks. But the chance to get the loan approved is low.

If it is your first job then it might be hard to get.

hi, im new here.
after reading most of the posts, feel like sharing. ive been reading about pl lately. went to few banks to get some ideas on procedures and repayment.
i just started my current job(private sdn bhd comp.) in january'13, confirmed position in may'13. basic 2.9k, +200 fix allowance, +100petrol. never used cc, car loan already 2yrs, 900/mth. ccris got 11111111. this week submitted 2 pl application via ambank and uob bank amt 15k. i applied together with cc application each. is it a right move to apply pl + cc at the same time? at one time 2 loan applications from diff banks some more?
please advise, what are my chances? if both reject, should i consider applying pl from bank where i got my car loan? or is that what i should do at the first place?
+info, im single and staying with parent.

ccris record 11111111 = bad.
if you want to take personal loan, bank will use your ccris record as reference. So, plz make sure you pay your car loan or other loan within time period ok.
