refer on this web
http://www.imoney.my/personal-loan

can anyone explain what mean :
7.60% Effective interest rate: 13.97%
*
It means that the actual interest rate that you're paying is 13.97% instead of 7.6% because the interest instalment is calculated based on the same fix loan amount eventhough you are already reducing the outstanding balance owed. Unlike housing loan whereby interest calculated are based on reducing balance therefore paying lesser interest.

Personal loan is always charged at high interest as it is an unsecured loan whereby housing loan, the bank has your house as collateral.

Hope this will help you to understand.

got rejected because of APL_FC14 - CARD ACCOUNT : PREVIOUSLY NPL / DELINQUENT..

however that particular card has been cleared and we even have the letter stating tht account is clear...any chance of getting PL?
*
If you apply personal loan from the bank of your npl/delinquent credit card. They wont approve. Better try to apply from other banks. But the chance to get the loan approved is low.

Is your new job your first job? If previously you have worked before then it should be alright. If it is your first job then it might be hard to get.

Good Morning Forumer's..

I having and issue/dilemma in choosing the correct bank to apply for PL.

I shifted to a new company and its been 2 months.

Previously was working for a different organization.

Now the question is, i wanted to Apply for PL as got some debt to settle, but since this is the first time i am doing so, i am not aware of the terms and also the procedure.

Checked I-Money website and they stated for the interest and effective interest which i don't know the different.

user posted image

I wanted to to apply a very minimal Loan amount (Prefer RM 5K to RM 6K but wanting RM 10K) and settle it in 1 year time as i dont wish to prolong more and delay in paying interest together as i might have other commitments comming.

I don't have any loan currently nor having a credit card.

Some of my friends said apply for CC and withdraw money from there as the interest is cheaper but from my point of view, CC means your stuck there for good ,locked and no turning back to settle as will be paying only for the interest never ending.

I Just wanted to get a very fast loan approved.

Currently in MNC
Duration : 2 Months
Which PL is secured, less interest,  easy and offers payment back system so i can settle in 1 year time with low interest and no hidden hanky panky Conditions.

I can Fork out Maximum RM 500 Monthly on top of my salary.

Personal loan repayment is fixed every month and the amount of interest you need to repay is also fixed even though the principal is reduced as you pay along the period. So that's the difference.

As what you have said, I assume that your ccris is clean. If that's the case, to get your ploan approved is a bit hard as ploan is still an unsecured product. Bank will not risk of giving out loans for people who does not have any repayment record or commitment. You can still try your luck though. Maybe some banks accept such application.

What your friends said is true where withdrawing money from CC charges lower interest, but bear in mind that, any late payment or failure to pay, will result your outstanding to be charged at a normal rate. Quite risky to do this though unless you have a very firm responsibility to repay it promptly.

Hopefully I manage to help you to clear some of your doubts.

As long as you have bank statements to proof that your salary crediting into your account. It should be alright. Unless Aeon requires the epf statement. Maybe try some other banks?

i have balance with maybank personal loan amount 10k

im not gonna pay until 1st august where i will make full payment

how much they gonna charge me ? what i see from the website is 1% p.a

what doesnt that means ? thanks for helping .

If thats what the bank says then it is. A late payment charge 1% of the instalment amount. But look at the agreement or terms and condition you signed previously. It maybe stated there too.

my issue is the same as you, only thing my debt is higher. (let's just say more than RM10K)...
my commitment is only the Car loan which is slightly lower than yours.

Applied for Alliance (the same amount), and it got approved.
MAYBE you might wanna try Alliance bank

(and no, i'm not a sales agent for Alliance bank. Just happened to see your predicament and i totally understand)
*
Yeah. Because Alliance Bank as a feature of credit card and personal loan consolidation whereby they will pay off the debt of your credit card straight to the bank which makes them assured that your commitment will turn low and only owing to Alliance bank.

I currently have 4 credit cards, used up all my credit limit CIMB = RM8000 MBF = RM5000 HLB = RM5000 AEON = RM4500 Totalling RM22500. Also have a car loan around RM680 a month. My salary is RM3500 + RM400 petrol allowance working for a Sdn Bhd company. I would like to get a loan of RM23000 to clear up all my credit cards and cancel all of them. Been trying with several banks but all got rejected which I think is due to my bad credit history. Anyone who can kindly advise me on what to do? Is it advisable if I were to get a loan from licensed money lender? Hopefully someone can help me here. Thanks.
*
Since you have bad credit record, it would be very unlikely you can get a loan approved especially personal loan. Negotiate with with your credit card banks on how to settle of the debts. They may advise you or propose you something.

any one know if easy rhb just rejected me, what are the chances applying for other bank.
*
Depending on what is the reason that rhb rejected you for. If it is because of credit score, then i think most banks would also reject or just the same judgement based on your own record.

QUOTE(lel @ Jul 18 2013, 12:45 AM)
Hi guys. I'm getting married next month and I'm quite worried about my expenditure for the marriage. Right now I have just about enough money for the  marriage but I think I need few K as back up, just in case. I'm planning to make P.L of 6k.

I'm curious, lets say I only use half of the 6k after  my marriage. Is it possible if I want to return the other half to the bank right away? or do I have to pay in fixed amount every month?

Another case is, let's say after 2-3 months I got more money and I want to pay more than the fixed monthly amount. Is it possible to do so? Thank you.
*
Even if you pay more in that particular month, the fixed monthly amount is deducted for that month. Extras will be brought forward. Interest will still be factored in as the instalment amount is included interest already. Personal loan is based on flat rate basis. Not reducing balance. Pay extra will not reduce the interest. Unless you want to settle it, depends on the bank's policy, normally you need to give 3 months notice in advance to ask for a full redemption amount otherwise 3 months interest will be charged.

working with private sector currently. CCRIS record (other than my ptptn payment not so cantik, others are ok, i pay on time everymonth). Commitment now is hire purchase loan, & a personal loan with RHB (both good record). Credit card also never late payment(only sometimes not pay in full). Appreciate for any advise. thanks.
*
Ptptn does not include in the CCRIS record. Dont worry smile.gif Since you're working with private sector, normal rate shall be applied. Unless if there's any promo rate offered by banks. Good record of payments, most probably you will get your loan approved.

THe best is 0. 1 still ok. 2 can still be acceptable depending on the banks. 3 and 4 are the numbers you do not want to have.

Hi guys,

currently I need some advise and opinion from those who had any experience about personal loan for private sector worker like me.

Last week, I have applied the personal loan with Maybank and only today I found out it was rejected (No reason why they are rejected are provided of course).

Fyi, I am working with an IT company with gross income of RM4475.00++.I have maybank dual credit card (Mastercard + Amex) which I never miss the payment every month (which I only pay the minimum payment).I also have AEON loan for electronic device which I never missed the payment. The loan amount with AEON is around RM3000.Previously, I've settled with my first loan with AEON (around RM1400 + RM3800).

Last few days ago, I did browse through few forums and they advise to check the credit status with CTOS and CCRIS.
My status with CTOS was :

SECTION A - IDENTITY NUMBER VERIFICATION

SECTION B - INTERNAL LIST/GROUP EXPOSURE

SECTION C DIRECTORSHIPS AND BUSINESS INTERESTS

SECTION D

INCORPORATION DATE : 18-04-2007
NATURE OF BUSINESS : TO CARRY ON GENERAL TRADING OF TELECOMMUNICATION PRODUCTS
ADDRESS : PACKET HUB,159,JLN TEMPLER,PETA.LING JAYA,SEL

Note : P1 service is suck at my area and I never missed the payment every month.Using P1 service for 2 years and since there are no improvement after few complaints were made, I decided to cancel the service and they wanted to charge me because I have 5 months left for the second contract.f*** that shit.I just stop using it and automatically switched it to UNIFI.Less haywire smile.gif

Since I have no time to go to bank Negara to get my CCRIS report, I am not sure if I've bad credit status (kinda worried tho) sad.gif

I have no housing loan (staying at my family's house) no car commitment as I bought it cash on last 2009 and another car was in 2012.

I have no idea why Maybank didn't approve my loan.

and oh ya, I am actually working on one year contract basis (renewable for every 1 year) in my current company for almost 3 years already.

Someone please advise me which bank should I go to apply the loan with low interest rate as I need the money to pursue my study. The loan amount that I need is RM50k. :''(

Maybe because you're working under contract basis. Some banks do not accept salaried employee under contract basis as the job security is not there to proof that you have the capability to pay off the loan if your contract is not renewed the year after.

wonder any p.loan allowed 30k loan for 7 year for income which basic + allowance around RM2400
*
RM2400 net? You can try to apply but dont put high hope on it. It maybe reduced because by right you're only eligible for the amount around RM15-20k. If you have high commitment, then can forget about. Apply lower amount.
