It depends.

Right issue normally associated with new acquisition that may boost income which to neutralise the effect of dilution. If the new acquisition indeed good in generating income, it may boost the share price or better DPU.

Also right issue may pare down the borrowing interest.

It depends how the money raised from the right issue being utilised upon.

i have 257700 unit of Hektar. meaning, i will be entitled for 257700x0.25 = 64425 unit @ 1.25 = RM 80531

need to find more money now!

this is second time right issue. first was AMREIT

i am a super long term investor. therefore, i prefer to subscribe all right issues.

only 1 right issue i lose money. BJcorp right issue.

You have nearly RM400k in just HEKTAR. Impressive. Presumably you have even more in AXREIT, suggesting over 1 million in REITs. And here I was scared that I'm holding too much REITs. AXREIT alone accounts for more than half of my unrealized gains to date.

AXREIT prefer the Dividend reinvestment plan to raise money.

It's good that you don't care about odd lots. I usually too care of it, so I missed all the DRP in all my stocks. Maybe I should destroy the sell button on some of my stocks. cry.gif

Normally how many years does the loan goes?
I remember someone mentioned that many REITs don't pay their loan's installment? Is this true? I kind of doubtful on that but I'm not sure. notworthy.gif
After fully settled the loan, the income generated from new acquired assets will be clean. rclxms.gif

ya i am also temted to sell... really crazily overpriced. If we are keeping for dividends, it make sense to sell at high price
and exchange for lower price to get better dividend returns? But worry also, in few months become RM 4.00??

I check the DPU history for AXREIT here...

AXREIT gave out distribution 5 times in the last 12 months?

Total DPU for the last 12 months = 4.30 + 2.80 + 1.40 + 4.30 + 4.40 = 17.20 sen
=> DY (at RM3.20) = 17.20*100/320 = 5.375%

ARREIT like is coming

Today closed 0.97 sen ..i think all time high....

Arreit is one of the laggard reits compare to other reits

May be bcs of silver bird factory......

Now i think it's awake liao.....All reits went up but this one still sleeping
