AmBank never had any 0% BT Plans but charge you interest and give you free gift instead. Currently only RHB offer 0% BT until end of this month.

Hopefully, cimb and maybank will extend the 0% BT..... just as what they did beginning of last year.

Maybe we should give CIMB a courtesy call to "request" for the BT 0% program.
If they receive enough request, they may just bring it back on.

guess we should do this... especially on cimb. I really feel that its BT is the best among all the bank. Basically no restriction.. e.g can BT from a BT account, accept 'printscreen' statement, can pay just min. 5% for first 5 months, no early exit fee, fast processing time...

I called cimb/ DA 2 days ago. They said they are not going to extend the BT. Imagize if everyone pay ontime after 5 months, they hv nothing to gain. I think they are also in line with BNM policy to tighten the consumer credit.

BT is good for those with tight cashflow and a good cash revolver if used under control!

Not entirely true... Many would need to settle the BT accounts first, before can cancel the Direct Access/CIMB CC

yes, true. Me myself still owe 100k, got to force myselve pay 20k per month, else have to find alternative solutions...
At least 6 months, then only will see massive cancellation...

wanna ask, if i'm in below situation, shall i go for BT?

Total debt = 8k
Constant monthly pay = 2k
so i would need 4mths to clear my debt.

or i shall go for 0.5% 6mths maybank BT?

which one i'll be charged min interest?
