damn this DTR AQZEA boots into windows at 2.5ghz with only 1.65v, but suddenly blue screen come out after a few minutes.

super pi test:
166 x 12.5 = 1.5V
166 x 13 = 1.5V
166 x 13.5 = 1.5V
166 x 14 = 1.525V
166 x 15 = 1.7V
166 x 16 = 1.95

i'm suspecting my mobo is undervolting. bios set 1.95V may drop to 1.9V at certain times sweat.gif

Hmm.....RM110 still overbudget LOL! blush.gif I'm buying a mobo, that's why not enough $. Anyways, I'm keeping the CPU because, even though somebody is offering quite a high price, I still can't afford a new Sempron + good mobo setup. cry.gif

1 hour is for the ranking in this thread. Not for 24x7 setup dude! You might be satisfied with 6-8 hours prime stable, but somebody might want 12hours, someone probably wants 24hours, and the list goes on.

I remember somebody challenged flowerh to prime 18hours when he got his CPU up to 2.60GHz. You go and search that thread, and read what he said. tongue.gif

tat's y i said it's misleading for newbies and i relli think it thould be revised from 1 hour to at least 2 hours

and it's getting on my nerve looking at all the results when mine can't even break the 2.4g barrier tongue.gif

well yeah i guess a little longer would be better.
but i was thinking this would be just a 'as fast as u can' with minimal stability ranking

heh though i did 2.5 gig with about 2 hours i didn't include that in the listing cus i personnally wanted to go through over night. =]

OKay lets put a poll to this.
What does everybody think. should it be revised the sp2004 be run longer. (2hrs like evil suggest)
Or should it just be buggered.
lets share.

this thread is mainly for high clockspeed shoot out only right? doesn't mean that we're running it 24/7

stress test 1hr is just to make sure that the processor can really achieve that speed.

One hour is enough because I'm folding. Even 1 hour of sp2004 already decreased the score. tongue.gif

1 hour of SP2004 should be sufficient for this Speedranking Thread thumbup.gif

There is no time limit in SP2004. Means u can run it for weeks or months non-stop. Evildonkey challenge me for a 24hrs prime, and now i'm running it for him. What if next day someone challenge me for a 48hrs prime, and i'll have to do it again for him just to proof to him? This will keep on going...

In my opinion, as long as u're satisfied with your own results and the stability of it, that's enough.
