No, I really don't know why it fails the very first time I put my CPU (yeah, straight away do mild o/cing hahaha). This is 2600+ running on 12.5x166 on KT333 (yeah fsb 200 will kill my hdd hehe). I tested with 12.5x200 yesterday, it boots nicely, but 58C idle!! (Me on stock hsf). Anyways, I think we can really trust the stepping in DTR, unlike normal desktop which same stepping does not give same o/c. I wonder how good soulfly's 2800+ will be. I hope it cracks 2.8GHz with air cooling hahahah!

u relli haf the guts to do it...2volts on air...i bet the 2.9 gig is anything but stable as the highest ppl gone wif a barton is 2.7g stable runing phase change cooling...and even tat oso their hdd corrupt after a certain period running on those settings

I'm on stock cooling. sad.gif So, the temperature is normal. 2500MHz was at 1.65Vcore. Just tried only, didn't really have time to test hehe.

the overclock isn't too stable running on daily use resulting to corruption of data to the hdd....it's pretty normal for hardwares to act weird when u ran them way out of their specs

Damn! 12.5x200MHz fails at 1.65Vcore after 18mins of priming (small FFTs)!!!! cry.gif This is a bad indication? LOL KT333 with stock cooling haha. Full load tempt was 58C.

Now priming at 1.675Vcore. Temp is 59C. Hope it's going well.

EDIT: cry.gif Failed after 28mins.

dont rush le..u might damage ur proc like tat (bcos temp)...get better cooling..or fit another big a** fan on the heatsink.

my proc need 1.725v for 2500mhz (at first) ...now after burning in 1.675v..

even my mobile barton needs 1.75v to run stable, and temp must be lower than 50'C, if not prime error. wink.gif
