Hi all,

Last Sunday I perform IBFT from CIMB to Maybank, and on the same day I withdraw the money from Maybank (using Maybank debit card).

Is that rm0.53 charges is charge on both banks ?

Oh I just notice that money withdrawal is the 5th time in this month, not sure Maybank charging rm0.53 (per withdrawal) for 5th time withdrawal onwards ?

Last time I read elsewhere, Maybank debit card give 4 times FOC atm withhdrawal. Is now still same ?

Rm0.53 is charged by the sending bank.

If you are a paying maybank customer, you get free unlimited atm withdrawal. If you are a free basic savings account holder, you can withdrawal max 8x/month.

I guess I am basic savings account customer, coz I don't get charged rm8 annual for the debit card.

Saw this in Maybank2U website.
Fifth withdrawal and above in a month RM0.50 per withdrawal (charge will be debited directly from account at the end of each transaction)
*Fee waived if you have a balance of above RM5,000 at time of withdrawal (optional) or single transaction of maximum withdrawal of RM1,500 and above
*Unlimited withdrawal at any Maybank ATM : RM8 per annum

Hi all,
On Friday, my company accidentally transferred money from Affin into an invalid/non existent Maybank2U account via IBG. Because I'm not familiar wit Affin bank policy, will the transaction will be reverted and refunded back to Affin? Really appreciate your feedback.
Many thanks.

it should reverted back to originating account if invalid.

why u asking this? shouldnt the company itself suppose to check with Affin instead?

1. Yes use rentas or banker's cheque.
2. No online option.
3. Should be. If you have priority banking, it's cheaper tham rm0.53
4. Don't know. If RM10k, just use IBG/IBFT la.
5. Not all banks support rentas. But all banks let you move large amount via counter
*
1st time heard of this Rentas. before this transfer online with max of 30k (maybank this time). then next amount following days... tongue.gif
how to register with this Rentas? all banks have it?
