I am not sure of ATM withdrawals as I never withdraw money from ATM since the IBFT was free. IBG shall be chargeable at 0.11
Frankly, I think it is useless to have IQ account as it does not distinguish its features from the normal savings account anymore. In addition, I was also made known OCBC has introduced a debit card too & customers are required to change to it (my debit). Thereafter,  there would be an annual fee of RM8

must change ATM card to debit card?
can choose no to change if just want to use the card at ATM and no make any retail purchase with PIN?

Just sharing my AmBank experience.

Last Friday i performed a IBFT using AmBank AmOnline to a Maybank account.

Numerous attempts done but each time failed and error display saying insufficient fund. After a few minutes checked back fund was debited mad.gif . While AmOnline kept showing error and no SMS confirmation received of successful IBFT, yet fund debited.

The receiving end was also my own account so confirmed IBFT did not go through.

Report lodged via 1300 80 8888 and issue still unresolved. Amount around RM2k.

Was also told IBG is safer than IBFT by one of the customer care. Also shocked by the wide range of response given by customer care, a few said 24h will refund, 1 said 7 days, another 1 said up to 14 days.

The irony is i am an AmBank staff and am sadly disappointed with my own bank online platform..

Somemore my IBFT is done via a 'registered account' not an one-off IBFT.. just out of the blue failed like that without warning...

One week has passed, after 5 working days and today's update from customer care is that my IBFT failure report is still pending checking by the 'respective department'.

Rm2k still unaccounted for.

Customer care overall friendly but the 'respective department' seemed slow in resolving such issues.

1. Yes use rentas or banker's cheque.
2. No online option.
3. Should be. If you have priority banking, it's cheaper tham rm0.53
4. Don't know. If RM10k, just use IBG/IBFT la.
5. Not all banks support rentas. But all banks let you move large amount via counter

1. Rentas is instant over the counter transfer.
2. 2 days like that? But usually banks allow it to be used instantly for FDs.
3. Just tell them you want to transfer xxx to bank X.

Hi guys, i have some situation here. Yesterday at 12 noon i did IBG transfer from my Maybank to my HSBC credit card. Usually i didnt tick the IC verification, but yesterday i tick it and wrongly entered my IC no. So until today, my HSBC credit card account didnt received the fund and also it did not bounce back to my Maybank account. Should i give it some time or just call the CS? And which CS should i call? Maybank or HSBC? Thank you.

Hi all,

Last Sunday I perform IBFT from CIMB to Maybank, and on the same day I withdraw the money from Maybank (using Maybank debit card).

Is that rm0.53 charges is charge on both banks ?

Oh I just notice that money withdrawal is the 5th time in this month, not sure Maybank charging rm0.53 (per withdrawal) for 5th time withdrawal onwards ?

Last time I read elsewhere, Maybank debit card give 4 times FOC atm withhdrawal. Is now still same ?
