Don't think so. I think bank will call you up to rnquire why so much money coming in and from where.

Hi guys, looking for some help on a transfer issue.

I transferred 6k yesterday at about 6pm from my HSBC to SCB account using my "saved transfer" function (previous transfers had all been done using this method). I assumed the transfer was Instant Transfer (didn't really check) but when I logged into SCB, funds were not there.

So I thought maybe I mistakenly chose IGB. So I waited until next day. I also did a nominal Instant Transfer and an IBG at about 2pm to test. Both those amounts are in! But my first transfer isn't.

It's been more than 24 hours and no sign of my missing money. HSBC confirmed that all account details were correct and identical to my later transfers.

Now both SCB and HSBC are investigating but told me that it may take between 5-7 working days.

Has anyone encountered this kind of problem? Is there any hope of me getting my money back or will I have to keep calling and following up? 6k is quite a lot of money to disappear.... I feel really worried and upset and hope someone could can share insight. Thanks in advance.
