Anybody knows on how to circumvent the "Insufficient space on this device" message?

This usually happens when the apps I want to download/ update from the Market are more than 10MB. I've tried clearing cache through Recovery Mode but it still doesn't work. When I use Titanium Backup to check on Dalvik cache, it only shows around 3MB of space taken. My SD card storage is 8GB.

Phone is rooted.

Its a bug in new market i think.. Try old market..

That's what I'm facing right now. Both my Ace & Tab both have the same problem. factory reset didn't work on either.

tried that too but Ace official GB only go as far as version 2.xx problem still there.

Oh thanks guys. Updated already. I notice before this update. Sometimes after I off my wifi, when I wanna on it back, cannot. It just on for a while without connecting and off. Need to restart the phone then only can use back. One more thing, when I lock the phone, I have a screen lock. Sometimes when I swipe, it cannot read. Need to lock and unlock the phone back then only can swipe. Any of you experience before? Sorry for the essay.

I didn't know where to install and ASTRO's new update was driving me nuts, since the new UI didn't recognize my SD card contents and therefore couldn't locate the file. However, I used the manual settings and it worked. Thanks for your suggestion, though

Head to Settings > Manage Applications > Market and then select Uninstall Updates. You will be prompted to use the factory version.

It worked for me. The new Market is at fault.

try uninstall market update...

what's the cheapest data plan for android phone? which telco company and the name of the plan... cos i'm paying rm46 for this digi smart plan for 1GB but i'm even using half of it... add with my normal sms bills it cost me almost rm100.. any suggestions bro?

good for my area. quite stable in these area semenyih/kajang/cheras/cyberjaya (my personal experience)
Umobile no problem in Klang Valley, seremban and johor bahru.
Others I'm not sure.

I found that there's slight changes in some of the icon... And there's no more "skin" choices for the message background?? =(

yupe, my sis was disappointed about that to but all the other GB perks make up for it

did u have whats app installed? I faced a problem previously that my sms/mms cannot send after whatsapp was installed..

no more SOD more smoother I guess. as reported by my sis. I never use froyo before so have no idea what the difference are
