Right now, Im ready to flash my rom to CM7kang. I got few questions before proceeding on..

1. I already flashed CWM4 via sd card. Right now I wanna backup everything including my stock ROM. I already used the backup function in CWM4. Is it sufficient? What about my apps?

2. I installed Titanium Backup and ROM Manager. Both backup different things? Like Titanium = APPS, ROM manager = ROM.

3. I tried to backup my rom via ROM manager, it requires me to install CWM but i laready have CWM4. Will it corrupt if i install another CWM =\

cwm backup will backup everything, which means the rom

That's great! So, after flashing to CM7, how do i restore my apps, contacts etc except my stock ROM? If im not wrong, CWM only have 1-click restore all which includes stock ROM?

for apps you can use titanium backup, for contacts you can export it to sd card and import it back later

I just flashed to CM7. Looks nice. But where can I find my titanium backup? Android market is not even there! OMG.
Another thing that annoys me. The return button always send me back to the home screen. Every time when I check some stuff and just wanna back to the application menu, click Return button, it straight away send me back to the home screen. Any way to set this?

Some people will feel like going back to stock rom after using CM7 for a while. It has a lot of advantages, and yet it comes with some stuff missing, which we hope to have too.

Just use latest Kies, once you connect ace to your pc it should display an option to upgrade and just proceed from there

are you using kang or behradGH cm7. kang version doesn't have the market problem. regarding the return button, adw launcher doesn't allow app drawer to run background. you can try to use other launcher such as nemus launcher.

possible to connect SGA to a monitor to watch movie/play games?

Yea i know right ^^. Although CM7 is so much faster.. and you can set almost everything you want but the missing parts is a killer.

so far haven't found a rom that takes nothing out but simply replaces them with something better. i guess in the end this is just a galaxy ace, not galaxy s2, meaning less attention/interest from skill people.

When did you get the error message? After downloading the firmware? Did you retry the upgrade?
