Since you have DA and EON already, get Maybankard 2 Amex and OCBC Titanium. combining both you can get up to RM100/month cash back.

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Is a must,or minimum amount of the fee
3. Card required for: buy airline ticket, online transactions, petrol, shopping goods, bills
4. Existing credit cards if any: Nil.

6. Others: -
Really appreciate if someone could give me some details on this..
*
Firstly, MBB minimum income requirement for thier cards start at RM30,000. So for now I guess it will be tought for you to qualify for one since you only have started work and no existing credit cards.

Try apply for following cards:

1) Ambank Carz CC where you get 2% cash rebate at all petrol station but capped at RM20/month.
2) UOB OneCard where you get 2% Smart$ Cash at BHP
3) Public Bank Esso Click here to PBB website.
4) Citibank Clear Card but you get nothing for petrol or Citi Air Asia if you fly with Air Asia.
5) SCB Gold Card but you get nothing for petrol. Check out their website, you get cash if your application approve.

Also look into Alliance Bank Classic card where they do give cash back based on tiers. Click here to view Alliance CC cash back tiers for Classic, Gold and Plat.

Else get PBB Esso Debit Card.

Recommend that you read my very first post at my blog on credit card titled Introduction to Credit Cards - CC101

Also read this Malaysia Credit Card Anuual Income Requirement. There is a table there where you can refer to based on your income and then go to the bank website for further info.

Unfortunately there is no card from CIMB giving you anything for Shell petrol but the Gold card does give you rebate for Groceries on Sundays only for limited time.

If you really want CIMB, then apply for it. Click here to read more about Free Annual Fee cards which include CIMB cards in my article titled Best Credit Card - Is There Really One?

My recommendation for you is Maybankard 2 Gold Cards where you get cash back and points for both Petrol, groceries and everything else.

Click here to MBB 2 Thread.

When you free, read the following articles posted in my blog, may be useful since you are new to CC.

For Education, OCBC Great Eastern Card do offer cash rebate but the minimum income requirement to qualify is RM36,000 pa. Click here to OCBC site to read more on the card.

As for petrol, please go to petrol thread by clicking here and read posts above e.g. post#222 and #157

Best if your salary near RM30K, go apply for Maybankard 2 Gold Cards where the Amex card gives you 5% for petrol except that it is generally not excepted at Petronas.

Ya, in market not have many cc pay retail/petrol can have point/rebate.
Many of the cc just for petrol alone got point or retails alone got point. Unlike MBB2cards Amex

To be more precise, no other cards offer points + rebate except MBB2 AMEX!
Readers here should manage their expectations better, hope that will happen if they read more of our contributors post. (esp Gen-X posts)

Annual fees are always 'free' in 1 way or another. Even if the bank does not offer upfront, they will always waive it if you threaten to cancel the card. So dont worry bout annual fees. Ive never paid any annual fees since i got my credit card 11 years ago.
