QUOTE(StarSaber @ Apr 8 2011, 04:56 PM) 1. Annual Income: RM36K to RM48K For petrol, cash back and overseas transaction. the Maybankard 2 Cards is good.2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: A Must. 3. As for Air Miles, I think someone asked before and there's isn't one that have free annual fee. Anyone else got idea on this? Also most air-miles cards have higher annual income requirement. Are you willing to consider RHB Travel Money? click here to read more about it. this card got cash back for petrol too. As for your credit records, it has been more than a year since you settled, do less us know if the banks reject your application. This post has been edited by Gen-X: Apr 8 2011, 07:23 PM |

Somewhere in july 2010, i did try to apply for a new cc. However, rejected. Maybe bcoz of my mistake to apply 3 to 4 cc at once. Thinking if 1 bank reject, then there's still others that may have chances. But it seems that the banks know that i apply a few cc & so they reject my application. Or maybe in ccris record, due to the rhb cc card issue earlier, my record gone bad.... Do u have any opinion about this? |

1. Annual Income: ......
2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: No. 3. Card required for: Mainly overseas transactions. Locally just petrol. 4. Existing credit cards if any: CIMB Petronas Mastercard 5. Preferred Bank or Considering CC from banks: Considering I'm mostly oversea, must be able to pay CC bills online easily. CIMB is easier since already have current account there. Lounge access is NOT required. 6. Others: Mainly for oversea transaction e.g. hotels, dining, taxi, etc.. Say 10k MYR per month, which card would give me the best monetary return and how? Appreciate the advise, and thanks. |

Gen-x, i'm still blur blur with the Amex Gold CC 5% cash rebate during weekend
are we getting both 5% cash rebate and 5X treat points? or we'll only get 5% cash rebate? and can these 2 cards be used for online transaction like buy gsc movie ticket online or buy things from amazon? coz my friend keep on asking me not to get these cards coz he say cannot go through the online transaction one. QUOTE(labtec @ Apr 12 2011, 02:17 PM) Gen-x, i'm still blur blur with the Amex Gold CC 5% cash rebate during weekend labtec, please note that AMEX Gold CC IS NOT Maybankard 2 American Express. are we getting both 5% cash rebate and 5X treat points? or we'll only get 5% cash rebate? and can these 2 cards be used for online transaction like buy gsc movie ticket online or buy things from amazon? coz my friend keep on asking me not to get these cards coz he say cannot go through the online transaction one. This is AMEX Gold Credit Card ![]() The AMEX Gold CC only gives you 5X Membership Reward Points for Petrol, Groceries, Utility bills and at Bookshops. Click here to read about the American Express Gold Credit Card. THE card to get is Maybankard 2 Cards, picture below: ![]() ![]() With the Maybankard 2 American Express you not only get 5X Treats Points for any transaction in the world but also 5% cash back on weekends. Click here to read more about the Maybankard 2 Cards. labtec, if you are holding a American Express Gold CC, I suggest you go apply for the Maybankard 2 Cards where you be better rewarded with it compared to AMEX Gold CC. As for Amazon and GSC, hope someone else can assist you as I don't do online transactions except for buying air tickets. This post has been edited by Gen-X: Apr 12 2011, 09:36 PM |

QUOTE(Gen-X @ Mar 31 2011, 02:16 PM) yah, agree 100%. which MBB Platinum Visa is the lowest for oversea transaction?Anyway, the benefit of MBB Petronas are 1. Free For Life 2. 5X TP at Petronas and nothing else for other stations. 3. Overseas transaction lowest since it is a MBB Visa. For Overseas transaction, better you go with MBB Platinum Visa/MC (non co-brand) and get 2X TP. Click here to read about my credit cards where I mentioned I cancelling the MBB Petronas CC. |
