yup.. maybankard 2 cards is what i meant. Have to spend min amount of RM1k only eligible for 5% cash back.  cry.gif That's what the financial executive of the bank told me. I can give you her number if you want clearer info.
*
I think u confused by the Financial executive
Eg, u spent RM500 in weekend, so u will get RM25 for cashback
The cashback cap is RM50, so for 1 month, u spent more than rm1000 for weekend, u are entitled max RM50 cashback only.

As for petrol, please go to petrol thread by clicking here and read posts above e.g. post#222 and #157

Best if your salary near RM30K, go apply for Maybankard 2 Gold Cards where the Amex card gives you 5% for petrol except that it is generally not excepted at Petronas.
*
Ya, in market not have many cc pay retail/petrol can have point/rebate.
Many of the cc just for petrol alone got point or retails alone got point. Unlike MBB2cards Amex

true, but like I said try and if can get best loh. And in moyang's case, he mentioned he got CIMB card more than a year in CIMB thread (but here he did not mentioned??), so maybe MBB can consider his CCRIS records for his application. And we know MBB wants 500K new Maybankard 2 card holders  tongue.gif

click here to read my article Maybank targets 500,000 new Customers with Maybankard 2 Cards

although MBB wan hit 500k, but doesn't means application is more easy to get
this is because i got a frens, salary RM3k/month still can't get although he holding supp platinum card

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Must

3. Card required for: Petrol, Shopping, Mini Home Business(planning like sell stuff through lowyat)

4. Existing credit cards if any: Nil. TOtally newbie, just graduated.

5. Preferred Bank or Considering CC from banks: Maybank / CIMB (have 2 accounts currently, easier to pay the debts through online, rite?)

6. Others: Looking for a Card for emergency use when going to pay the bill in restaurant w/o enough cash, points to redeem IT gadgets,

7. Estimated Spending per month with the card: Less than RM1K or RM1K-5K (perhaps)

I'm totally New to Credit Card, but im thinking on enjoy the freedom while having the benefits? ( is there such thing?)

hi buddies..i need ur help here..im just got my maybank 2 card - visa n amex..dis is my first time using credit card..so ia have a few questions here..hope you all could help sad.gif

1) if i buy something..how many interest it will charge?
2) normally, i need to pay the payment once statement been send to me right?so how long i need to settle the payment?can "bayar sikit2 ke"?is the interest will rise if im doing so?
*
1.) if the shop didn't have merchant fees (normally small shop like car accessories, pc shops they will have, 3%), then what you buy also won't charged anything

2.) within 20days from statement date must clear so that 0 interest. You can pay minimum like 5% or RM50, but you will kena charged interest
