And how much is the D7000 actually ?
I saw at shop got sell RM 43++ plus kit lens 18-105mm but at the internet or lowyat de price RM29++ body only
The lens so expensive meh?
*
Last week just bought another set, body only at RM2950 and with kit lens if I'm not mistaken is somewhere around RM3800? Didn't really ask the price of set with the kit lens though because already made up mind to get body only.

U shop for camera gear in jusco, no wonder expensive la. They are mandatory to put RRP on their price tags. Worse still u have no haggling power.

Dude, prices at commercial complex such as Jusco less likely to offer the so-called street price which you'll get a couple of hundreds off retail pricing.

I think what he meant was 18-105 or 18-55 lens. Not referring to a 55mm prime.
*
obviously he's talking about prime... single focal length = prime sleep.gif...

well eugene, just come over to lowyat and shop for camera and pray that you don't get conned that's it, price here is like pasar malam, no doubt those camera shop in the mall near your house have to sell it at higher price due to the rental and not actually everyone shop for gadgets in those mall, people are funny sometimes, they love to shop for expensive stuff at place with a lot people around, they actually feel proud about it, but of course, price will be cheaper a lot, but it all depends on how well is your negotiation skill.

Nah... still far away from it. Gonna practice on my photography skills first before heading to professional class equipment. No point getting there if my skill wasn't able to fully utilize it biggrin.gif

Cool down guys sweat.gif

Based from my point of view, he is more like asking why get 50mm single focal length lens when it's already covered by 18-55mm biggrin.gif

Bro, why so defensive la? We'll just wait for the clarification from the asker ok? If he really meant a prime and not refering to the 18-55 kit lens, then I have no issue apologising to you if you demand it. Never I said I do not like your explanation on prime lenses. In fact I did not even say anything about our explanation. Cheers bro. Chill k.

+8 in AF Tune meaning all the while you have back focusing problem not front focusing issue
*
I suppose back focus is focus on the towards the back?
My symptom was, lets say I focus on the eye and the hand is in front, you see the hand is sharp. For focus chart or lets say words, it focus on the front.
When I adjust the AF Fine Tune, as I increase the value, the focus plane shift to the back, slowly correcting the focus.

Sorry for the confusion

I think + is used for correction on front focusing and - is used for back focusing

Look at this chart

This lens is off by 2 steps

In order to correct it, adjust the AF Tune to +2
