If medium usage about 8-10 hours. If you want full day, turn everything on low or minimal. And no games.

Menu->About Phone->Battery Usage And see what's using the most


Mine currently at 7hrs with only 30% usage.

Bro, when I am at the screen of battery usage, I see Android system 14% and Android OS 11%. Are they the same? Curious

Anyway, glad you like it. Yup, adjust brightness, off gps, kill those apps instead of just press home button to same more juice. Download JuiceDefender too for betetr battery consumption.

hahahha. yea. cuz i use iphone the battery also dry up fast. Thought Samsung galaxy s 2 will be better. hahahha. but after all, i like this phone also. Nice phone.

iPhone battery last longer than Sg2 honestly. But depends on how you use la. Each people different.

Weather - refresh every 2 hours
News - manual refresh, I read about 2-3 times a day
FB 3 hours refresh
Twitter - 1 hour refresh
Email - 10 - 20 emails
SMS - 10 - 20 emails
Calls - random
Games - 1 hour top (at home)

That is medium usage for me

you might have been better off with perhaps HTC FB phones. smart phones will require owners to change mindset. must accept that battery technology is a limitation and daily charging is required. sometimes more than once a day. some even constantly charge it when in office.

Is there any apps to send emoticons so that non-android phone can see it instead of looking at symbols?

Open Gallery - locate the wallpaper you need; Tap on it : Menu - Set as - choose lock screen wallpaper

just noticed long sms gets converted to mms. anyway to disable it？ recipient complained can't read my sms.

5 hours max with heavy calls plus some little gaming and web browsing. Zzz. Hope 2.3.4 firmware enhances the battery life more. have to plug into car charger everytime to use it like for 12 hours.

Running on VR2.0. Stock browser has serious lag! Downloaded dolphin, it working fine. Dunno y the stock browser lag.

This is not an issue at all . You can download the browser.apk file from Litening thread . Use Root explorer - copy the browser.apk file to /system/app
Reset phone and browser is installed , named Internet. I have google it for you ....You cannot click on apk to install

Need to replace the sms.apk inside the system folder... otherwise it autoconverts sms longer than 4 sms to 1 mms.. supposedly a 'saving' feature
