Can explain more on this matter? I don't really understand. I wanna know why it isn't just about the speed rating. smile.gif

layman's term
random read/write = accessing a large no. of small size files
sequential read/write = accessing 1 big size file

like when we transferring files in PC
A) 100 files total 4GB
B) 1 file total 4GB

B is faster because we enjoy faster sequential speed when scenario A is utilizing random read/write
sort of highway vs stop start traffic scenario

not so layman's term: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2100584...nd-random-write

What is deodexed? biggrin.gif

alamak. a search is just clicks away

but since i dono wat is deodexed. i did it for teh lulz

QUOTE
Apk files have respective odexes that devs use to supposedly save space. Deodexing means you convert it back to a .dex file and put it back inside the apk. This allows you to easily replace files (not having to worry about odexes), but the main point was to deodex services.jar so that you can change all text to different colors (such as the clock color to white) and to deodex services.jar, you need to deodex everything.
