Lol, I malas to do off data myself, and in this sense it helps.
But yeah, if you NEED things to come in as they should, JD ruins things lol. QUOTE(hye @ Jul 18 2011, 01:58 PM) I am also doing the same thing. I can assure you what Benny888 said was true. I have 2 output on my car charger 1.0A and 2.1A. Charging input is kernel controlled. It would not spoil the phone, makes the charging time much more faster. Today's drive to the office which is about 15 mins and I got about 15%-18% juice on my phone in that short drive. Unfortunately, Samsung SET it to 500ma for car chargers (for USB charging it's even worse, just 2 BLOODY MA). So ACTUALLY, it's really of no REAL use if you use a 2.1A OR 1A charger - I use GPS + Streaming radio + bluetooth to car FM transmitter, my 2.1ma charger tops my SGS2 at a rate of -4% per hour. Saturn_de has a few kernels with this corrected - charging rates are set to 650ma for car chargers. BUT, your screen will get fcuk hot due to this. Also, the kernels are not Tegrak friendly AT ALL. Incidentally, I THINK the AC charging rate is ALSO limited to just 700ma. This post has been edited by Eiraku: Jul 18 2011, 03:21 PM |

QUOTE(nicregi @ Jul 18 2011, 12:16 PM) Me well, at my time we got to choose btw those 2 or 8gb MicroSD. i chose MicroSD since i already have CaseMate & Nillkin case.BT free. I heard you can choose between SP + cover or BT. Either one but I was the earlier batch only got BT free. And they got some darn good service Added on July 18, 2011, 12:16 pm Damn! Got to learn how to do so. Wanna try...seems fun |

In a way they are not talking nonsense. Higher power output still might be able to charge your phone faster. Cheap chargers might say for example put output as 500mA, but internal resistance and all the cheap components might degrade the output thus its not trully 500mA.So if for car charger, any charger above 500mA will do its job well right? I just bought RedHot 570mA car charger last week Its always advisable to get a good charger. Not all phones accept the same charge. HTC phones accepts the highest charge among the many phones i've used. Their 1A charger charges really fast compared to charging at 500mA over the usb port. |
