You need to completely uninstall the previous version and install the latest version then you restart your phone & download the data file again.

mind to share where did you get this information from? i do have a samsung tablet charger that charges that 2000mA, but want to be sure before try it.

Unbelivable progress managed to hold my S2 battery up to 1day plus. Hi guys usually you all will keep a lot of launcher in your phone? at the moment i'm using 3 launcher TW Launcher which is stock launcher and the other 2 is ADW & GO. If i use either 1 of the launcher will the other laucher eat up my ram?

your 4-5% is with wifi and data OFF? or on 24 hours?
I managed to get 4-5% battery usage IF I off wifi and data

so the wifi direct can only be done from phone to phone connection? can we do the same with PC (not talking about the wireless kies)

I am also doing the same thing. I can assure you what Benny888 said was true. I have 2 output on my car charger 1.0A and 2.1A.
It would not spoil the phone, makes the charging time much more faster. Today's drive to the office which is about 15 mins and I got about 15%-18% juice on my phone in that short drive.

Wifi off, data off, 3G wanna off but duno how, sync off, sms and phone only. I'm sleeping so it's alright.

there is no quick short cut to change on stock rom
but it is very easy to change: the same place you turn off you data, there's an option WCDMA/GSM.
Auto = Obvious
WCDMA = 3G Bands
GSM = 2G

i do this manually instead of using juice defender etc and save a lot of battery power.
when i leave my ebuddy and what's app on, 2G is enough, hence I can save power

then when I need to use the internet for surfing/sreaming i turn 3G back on.

on wifi and background sync: 12% to 34% drop. the time it drops 34% i was like WTF?????

No, it wont harm your phone. The full capacity charge is determined by the phone not the charger. Say you have a 2A charger and the phone max charging is 1A, the phone will take in max 1A only. So its safe. I feel the samsung charger is abit low at 0.7A, takes ages for it to charge but lower A got its upside, the battery wont get very warm so it increases the lifespan of the battery.

Actually depends on yourself lo. If you lazy or hardworking. When I am outside, I am always on Auto. When at Home, 3G only cos house no wifi and connection is bad.

I set my JD to off all data and only on 1 minute every 1 hour. However, it works for everything except for my gmail and yahoo mail which both are pushed. Seems working fine for me wor...

Battery life I see a bit of improvement but since I am heavy user, can't really say lo. First day belum explore phone also buy JD jor...

Added on July 18, 2011, 2:36 pmMine background sync every hour ni. Wifi is always on but when wifi on, data will off. So either one only. I know the configuration kinda messy for JD but really worth the time if you can try one by one. Took me a week to configure to the way I like...
