i thought i got different color scheme which means the bootleg ones. after checking some pics. i just confirmed that they have 2 type of black color.

Noble ones have glassy-like for its body , and Midnight ones have matte design body (just refering to some picture i search before)

Ok, I'm using Maxis and I got this phone as a replacement for my broken SE k660i, and had used the *100# to get the configuration for MMS and WAP. After I installed it, I still can't send/receive MMS nor surfing net with WAP (sometime I went to places without wifi). Thebn I tried the setting on the first post, and yet still the same problem. Any help? Anyone using Maxis and CAN send/receive MMS WITHOUT enabling wifi?

I applied stein clear sp and guess I regreted it. Why? Too much finger prints lol! gorilla glass is fine for me since the I was already using the phone for 2 weeks without any sp...hmm!

Of course it's normal to cost money when sending MMS, but what I'm asking is when receiving MMS.

Please excuse if this has been mentioned before. I tried searching in the forum but couldn't found any post regarding this.

My phone is stock standard. I have problem connecting to wifi spots in places like coffeebean, bodega, etc. however wifi at home and office no problem. Please advice.....

Totally agree. I love this phone. I want it to succeed. People ask me how's the phone, I say great. People ask me how's the battery, if I am honest I gotta tell em, if you off almost everything you will get good battery, but whats the point? I understand I have to off unused stuffs, all smartphones have to off em to prolong battery. But at least make it easy to off em, even paying for an automation program like Tasker is not easy to control these things easily.

I really don't understand what Sammy is thinking. If fully charged gotta make sound to wake you up at night. Read somewhere that after fully charge, if not pull out charger then not good to battery. But, you have got 2 super smart cores in there, can't you build into the system to off the charging and save the battery when fully charge, rather than to ask to user to manually do so?

I also understand that some people need or want to set their CPU. That is all good. But for even a technically inclined guy like me, what makes me think that even after all that I have read up, I will be better at tuning the CPU? Doesn't it make sense for Google or Sammy to tune down the CPU automatically when I am not doing much at night when I am asleep? You have 2 cores, I am sure there is a way you can detect processes and tune it down when the phone's not doing much, rather than asking me to become a CPU expert and tune it myself.

I know how to turn it off. I only complain that I have to run circles or take many steps to do it. Actually I am asking for about 1.5 days. Fully charged during the morning, unplugged, charge it the next night. That will be good. IF you can get 36 hours, perhaps you would like to share how you do it.

guys, do more research on 3G vs 2G first before blindly giving comment. Yes agree to the point of ferrarri theory but do you know what's the impact of turning on 3G permanently? if you are at full 3G coverage area then the impact on battery is minimum but if you are not, expect battery drain because your phone will tend to boost the signal lock down 3G network. That's the culprit of battery drain. i never say you cannot turn on 3G, turn on only when needed like surfing or downloading. 2G is more than enough for all the IMs or emails.

already did that..but still the "?" appear at top right of my phone..
is there any software to check the satellite signal?..
btw im new to android n smartphone..

the solution would be, battery technology. our battery technology for pass 10 years has not evolved much vs the other parts of the devices. more powerful CPU, bigger screen

Yesterday i went to Sg Wang to look for S2...asked nearly all the shop there for the best price. Last shop i went there offer me RM2030 for SME, then i said ok i need to survey other shop too. Then i walk by...the salesman called me again, and his boss showed me the price on his calculator... RM1800 and said "If this price, u want?" i said, "sorry sir i dont want AP set or demo set." he said, "no, this is ori set, if u want i'll get for u" Then he went away to get me the set, about 20 minutes he still doesnt show up. Me and my friend was so wondering why is the price so cheap... I ask the salesman if the boss is trying to do some con here...he said he dont know but he showed me the list of shops they have, its about 30 shops around kl and pj.
Then after about 30 minutes of waiting, his boss call him and said, the set finish already, he actually have to queue up at the other shop (its like a warehouse, not open to public) to get that set and up to his turn, the set finish already. and i was like...o nooo... and went home with empty handed, because no mood to survey anymore LOL.
Does anybody know about this? About the lil warehouse secret they were talking about? Or the price of S2 will go down to this price if few weeks time?

Guys wanna ask u all about the Ram status in ur SGS2. It seem like Juice defender Ultimate is sucking up a lot of RAM. After the complete loading in Cognition 1.13, the RAM reading is about 404MB/833MB. How was ur RAM uptake? Thanks.

help.. my papago is not working.. it cant detect any signal.. does papago use data? or just simply satelite signal?

i use while outdoor. leave it on for 30 min.. but no signal... keep showing klcc area only... i bought my sgs2 from lowyat.. but the papago on my friend iphone 4 is working well while we are in the same car.. haish.. something must be wrong with the software.. i got it free.. do u pay for it?
