QUOTE(benny888 @ Jul 10 2011, 06:26 PM) ROM Manager is not compatible with SGS II> Why don't you just install Chainfire Recovery CF4 which is a more powerful Recovery solution. If Rom Manager is good I would have recommend it in Page 1 Chainfire Recovery CF4 = ClockworkMod RecoveryAdded on July 10, 2011, 6:29 pm I use VMWare Fusion 3.1 - previously was on Parallel. While on Parallel, I flash my Windows Mobile 6, 6.1, 6.5 gadgets and the earlier Androids 1.6, 2.1 and 2.2. These interface should not affect as it acts as a bridge only between Windows OS and MacOSX Sorry for asking this as I really confuse about this.. And I knew that Litening ROM come with ClockworkMod Recovery right? So now If I want to do backup, just boot in Recovery mode and select backup? QUOTE(hihihehe @ Jul 10 2011, 07:16 PM) wow..seems your class 4 is better than my Transcend Class 6..which is lousy Never believe Transcend product..no matter what product they have |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Jul 10 2011, 08:38 PM) Since you are on litening rom clockworkmod recovery already installed. This is already the best solution for you to flash rom, backup restore functions. You already hsve the best why bother use 3rd party incompatible solution Ok..understand..just to make sure you confuse yourself as despite my pm telling you litening comes with cf4 and is stated in his features description. I suppose you did not read it well enough even sfter i highlighted. Read his features and you will see how he progesses from cf3 to cf4 This post has been edited by Lineage: Jul 10 2011, 09:04 PM |

QUOTE(hye @ Jul 10 2011, 11:48 PM) Just to ask ... I am using WidgetLocker. So far no problems with it after nearing a day tinkering with it to get it to function / look the way I want. I don't really understand what seems to be the problems that some of the folks here mentioned. Care to elaborate so that I could avoid doing something which I am going to be unhappy about ? For File Explorer..I use ES File Explorer..the main point I use it is because can access my PC directory by using Wifi Just to share ... in case anyone wants an alternative to ASTRO, can try eFile. I personally think it is better than ASTRO but everyone has their own preferences. |

QUOTE(nicregi @ Jul 11 2011, 12:10 PM) This is what happen to me. You can try and it works for me like charm. Thanks bro..working now.. 1. Make sure it is rooted. 2. Go to Titanium Backup (TB) and backup maps. 3. Uninstall maps 4. Go to street view & uninstall also. 5. Reboot 6. Copy the map / navi (link in my siggy if you can't find) and choose the one WITHOUT resign (resign didn't work for me that's why) - copy into your SD 7. Use Super Manager (since it is free) and move that file you just copied to your System under app. Do this by pressing the back space 8. Inside apps folder, just paste. 9. Reboot and done Tip: at #7, when the option comes out to R/O or R/W choose R/W Okay this will work now. Quite sure of it |

QUOTE(nicregi @ Jul 11 2011, 03:19 PM) Lol..actually I did that. Litening for 3 days got bored. Tried VR and now....VR 2.0 baby! My brightness set to Zero..Wifi 24 hours ON, GPS 24 hours OFF..I dont see how much juice I can save O.O i thought there was performance difference Added on July 11, 2011, 3:30 pm I believe if you put brightness low and data & gps off, you can save ALOT of juice...just my thoughts though. By the way, what do you mean by data off? how to off data? disable data packet? |

QUOTE(nicregi @ Jul 11 2011, 05:15 PM) From what I understand, do this (my habit) before flash rom Oh..I see..you mean after you wipe, you install back TB, then it will show all the apps..so just select whatever you need and install back? without doing any other thing? Backup using CWM for all ROM data Backup using TB pro for all app Wipe like gila also nvm and when install back, install back TB and just reinstall one by one selecting app or app + data And if you wipe, it will phone internal sd and not external sd unless you select it or something. Pardon me if I am wrong on this. Added on July 11, 2011, 5:15 pm And can anyone help me with this? Always having same problem with K9...why le? Hmm! |
