No it happens to a lot of phones. AND it only happens when data is DOWNLOADING while a call comes is.If the tower you're connected to supports Class A EDGE connections, the data connection will be suspended until the call is finished. If it's a class B tower, the call will be dropped until the data connection is no longer active.
Check the wiki entry on GPRS. EDGE DOES NOT support simultaneous data and voice, only 3G does.
It was worst with the iPhone but my Nokias had it too. And my SGS2 did the same thing, although not as often.
My theory is most klang valley/urban area Celcom towers are class A able at this point, problem is I don't live in klang valley any more, and I don't think lipis can be considered urban in any way.
