No it happens to a lot of phones. AND it only happens when data is DOWNLOADING while a call comes is.

If the tower you're connected to supports Class A EDGE connections, the data connection will be suspended until the call is finished. If it's a class B tower, the call will be dropped until the data connection is no longer active.

Check the wiki entry on GPRS. EDGE DOES NOT support simultaneous data and voice, only 3G does.

It was worst with the iPhone but my Nokias had it too. And my SGS2 did the same thing, although not as often.

My theory is most klang valley/urban area Celcom towers are class A able at this point, problem is I don't live in klang valley any more, and I don't think lipis can be considered urban in any way.

Wow..thats fast..so possible pirated Papago need longer time to lockup?
If I use GPS Status, it need more than 5 secs to lockup..is there any problem?

hi..want to share a bit.. i discovered another advantage of the new Market.

my case: i created a new Google acc, and i want to use it as my primary acc. but the problem is, i bought a sum of apps from Market using my old acc. just now i reset my phone and sign in with my new Google account, and had been searching for any method to retrieve my apps.. (since i have factory reset my phone, so that time im still using the old Market).. at that moment, i cant find any way to get my apps back..

but then i installed the new Market. then i got to Market >my apps> menu button> accounts.. walllaaaa i can switch to my old account and re-install my apps!

but im still curious, is there any way to transfer thing from a Google acc to another? like contacts, calendar and suchs..

hey i;m planning to get sgs2 with maxis, any idea whats the amount that i will have to pay for the downpayment? hmmm

In my ulu place (Lipis), Sygic takes 3-4 secs.

Papago takes forever lol.

But I rarely use Papago any more, Aura is just... so... beautiful.

Hi guys, i'm facing the problem of ''Application not installed'' for the Google Map . I've followed the methods posted by selphy , Alamaklor, and also nicregi. Tried to reboot. But still no luck

Just went to SenHeng to check is the stock arrive or not...

Which end up that the 1st batch of stock already clear out~! Seems that they only manage to get 7 units and I was told that my name on the booking list from 2 weeks back but I'm still rank no.5 when the fresh second batch, which was estimated to arrive early of August...

why dont you buy from alieman.. LYN forumer.. he have a lot of stock.. rm2099 for 2year warranty..

Or buy from lowyat - so many shops selling ; was there few days ago and all priced at RM 2099

Already paid the deposit at SenHeng so no choice but tow wait for it...

Does our SGS2 have newer updates from Samsung Msia?

So far I'm still on stock KF1 when I tried updating it says there's no newer firmware.

So how do I update the marketplace etc..

Current price is still RM2099?

Then i really feel RM2350 tht I spent 2 months ago is really worth.
