Click on and hold the widget you want to remove, wait til it turns into edit mode (you'll know), drag and drop into the trash can. Now just add the original weather widget back. simple

You know, I was meaning to ask this as well. I've not had a single reboot in 3 weeks. My time since boot currently reads 216 hours, which is nine days; I think my last reboot was to backup my device in CWM. I have a live wallpaper running so my home screens has very minor lag on image heavy pages (pulse etc), but otherwise my phone doesn't feel slow at all, and this is without task killers.

Curiosity makes me wonder why some people are rebooting and some are facing lag after a period of time. Bad roms? Black market apps? Or are the phones just not made equally?

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere (XDA I think) that this trick no longer works on the latest kernels. Unfortunately I'm not sure whether there's a new solution to the problem or not. Just didn't want to you bang your head against the wall trying make something that won't work, work.

I've been looking for this, and I can tell you that I haven't found a way to disable the notification even on the paid version. I do get to change the notification icon style tho. Weee colors!
