years ago, diploma holder also can get S$3k in semicond industry or production related jobs but not many can do it for a long time. 12 hours rotation shif + OT (legal or illegal) etc, very bad for your biological clock.

now some fresh grad get $3.5k with NS, so S$3.2k without NS is possible for electronic industry.

not really...its really easy if u wanna move on to another job....unlike when u r on S Pass/EP....gotta wait for APPROVAL...if not approve then you're stuck!!..with PR.....as long as u get the company's offer letter...you're good to go already

actually 12hrs rotation cycle is not totally a bad thing. have to see how the cycle works. with 12hrs you actually safe a lot on traveling time and save traveling cost with fewer trips. I rather work 2 x 12hrs than 3 x 8hrs.

Yep, I agree.  Anyway, some of the time we are working more than that hours.  So yes, it can really save time and travel cost.
