hi, i have another question to ask you guys, Urgently need help here

currently i am looking for a job at sg and waiting reply now. what if suddenly got a company want hire me? to do a working new working pass need around 2-3 week, my white card only left 12 days[ cant be extend anymore]

the main problem i having now is i cant wait another 2-3 week for making the new working permit, i only left 12 days from now. After 12 days i must go out Singapore and need to wait 1 month only can come back again.

could i possible to show the singapore officer the "medical checkup report for working permit" so that they let me enter singapore again?anyone face this problem before?

Hope that someone who willing to help me, really urgent..

looks like many of you guys here suggested me to move on and apply other company instead of asking the current one to help me for 2nd appeal.

Btw, If i wana move on to apply other company, i need to ask the current company to cancel off any other further processing of my application from MOM right?
Then only i can ask other company to help me to apply for working pass right? cz i heard at one time only 1 application can be processed.
And also, will the new company found my old rejected record with MOM?

leng zai, it won't work that way. I would suggest you to go back and just continue to pay the rental with ur own savings.
get back to Malaysia so you won't get ur self into trouble for overstaying here in SG. if u were caught overstaying, I think it will affect the chances of you getting a permit to work here in the future.

just to rephrase your question ... if you don't get a job, you need to vacate singapore from 16august to 16september.

you are asking what if you get a job offer today, and your work permit IPA is issued on 22august, whether (1) you are allowed to come in with the IPA on 22august, or (2) no matter what you gotta wait til 16september then only come back in.

Some owner may be didnt check the status or some simply ignorant about the status....

For my tenancy agreement, there were 4 persons.
2 with valid passport and FIN.
My FIN was correct but not my passport as I renewed before coming.
The other just had a passport and no FIN at that time.

U mean you die die will work, doesnt matter even if illegally even if you havent got your pass since you already rented a room?? Do you mean this way?

normally how long will it take to apply a new working pass?

nah. all already woke up after the authorities jailed the ignorance old lady.

FIRST HOUSING AGENT JAILED FOR 18 MONTHS

Streats, 21 Nov 2000 reported that Mr Joseph Lui Hang Yin, 54, a senior associate manager with Citiwide Realty International, probably because the first housing agent to be successfully prosecuted yesterday in a case of harbouring immigration offenders.

He was sentenced to 18 months jail for abetting Madam Tan Sock Meng, the owner of a Serangoon Road apartment, a 72-year-old landlady in renting out her apartment to illegal immigrants.

Under the law, it is the responsibility of ther landlord to carry out sufficient checks to ensure that the tenants are not illegal immigrants.

Mr Lui promised to coduct the necessary checks for her and introduced 2 Chinese nationals. Mr Liu was paid commission of $800 and $500 from the Landlord and tenant respectively after the tenancy agreement was signed on July 5, 1999 between the Landlord and Huang Guo Ping. .

The Deputy Public Prosecutor R D Gangatharan argued that the onus was for Mr Liu to verify the documents ad that Lui had ignored that "Huang'" employment pass had already expired and that no original documents were given to Madam Lau, the daughter of the Landlady. The DPP urged the court to impose a heavier sentence as Liu had been previously convicted of cheating and criminal breach of trust.

District Judge See Kee Oon said: "Liu had blithely chosen to disregard what were highly suspicious circumstances and he "deliberately ignored all the signs" pointing to the tenant's illegal status.

friend, actually what you can do is while waiting... why not apply for more jobs? no harm if you have time right? probably get a better offer?

no, dont need to cancel i believe... just go ahead... there will be interviews and all... probably by the time u get a new one the appeal has already faded off....

dont worry so much ler... just go apply new one

actually I got another offer ard.
So thinking as you all advice, forget about the current one and move on to other company.

anyway, tmw i will call up the hiring manager to see if he is keen to hire me and if he can offer any help or not.
Else, i might opt to new offer ard. Cz as you all said, there is no point to stay if even the hiring manager no keen to hire you.

If in the case i move to new offer, do I need to ask the current HR to cancel off all the relating application? Or since the appeal is ard rejected, there is no other thing to follow up right?
