QUOTE(L7Awesome @ Aug 5 2011, 02:38 PM) There are a lot of gated communities in JB. Most of the new development has got 'gated communities' like Ada heights, Bandar Dato Onn, and a bunch more. Unfortunately, I think the prices of these properties are very high (most >500k). The cheaper ones you can get maybe at Ulu Tiram matured housing area. Added on August 5, 2011, 2:40 pmAlso Gwailou drive in daily I guess..... thanks for info it lead me here http://www.sammyboy.com/showthread.php?35746-Living-in-JBlet me dig deeper, hehe..

QUOTE(Tigerr @ Aug 5 2011, 01:41 PM) How about going Bangladesh as their bangladeshi dont want to work as restorant helper as all flock to MAlaysia liao and so lots of vacancy there.... In Sabah, particulary KK, the living expenses is pretty high and is almost on par like KL but salary still remain low...People from Sabah cant wait to get out and you want to go there pula. May be you can consider working inside those palm oil plantation. Sigh ask u go u wanna go? Please dont show such immaturity in this forum, i am asking about it in "Working in Singapore v7" thread for some reasons.

Added on August 5, 2011, 3:50 pmQUOTE(deodorant @ Aug 5 2011, 02:09 PM) where is your "back home" that can buy landed for under rm200k? anyway yes it is in property agent's best interest to drive the prices higher. higher price = higher commission for them mah. but this is also supported by high demand - if got low demand high supply, agents however bullsh*t you also they got not much influence to increase prices. If you talk about single storey landed house and not inside city area, probably still got a lot. Added on August 5, 2011, 3:55 pmQUOTE(ben3003 @ Aug 5 2011, 02:59 PM) Sigh ask u go u wanna go? Then you also mentioned about going Sabah and Penang....are you confusing yourself? Need any help? lolz... Wanna try work at overseas, dont feel like staying in KL, got asked to interview at Southern Steel, but i dont feel like working in Klang Valley, my preferred location and Malaysia would be Sabah or Penang. my uncle is at there also. Perhaps few years i will only come back to Malaysia, wanna get to more expose first, actually i am open to any overseas location This post has been edited by Tigerr: Aug 5 2011, 03:55 PM

IMO, some of these house does not worth the money but the seller jack up the selling price so that they can market it to Singaporean. Double storey middle lot in horizon hill selling at 500k.. gila price. With many new housing project under the "Iskanda developemnt", some renovated, good resale unit are selling lower than 500k. Good for own stay. Other than driving in/out daily, is there "bus office" available? Private car ferring office worker in/out JB. RM2k/month/car can get?

Anyone bought shares today, after DJIA lowsai last night? SIA finally went below my target entry price BUT... It's true after all, time & time again. Warren Buffett's very simple rule: BUY when people are bearish, and sell when people are bullish - is very, very hard to actually do.
