suddenly he brake n i bang his rear bumper.. quite high impact.. im worried if his bump pecah+mine also pecah..
Is this the sign from above for you to quickly change the bumper????
Also teaches you not to tailgate any car, and to leave a bigger space to brake....

Just test drove my friend's Lancer 2.0GT today. The power of the engine feels exactly the same as my Inspira but the gear changing for lancer is a lot smoother. When I'm on Inspira with D mode the gear tends to not shift unless I let go the accelerator a little bit
Don't know if its just my inspira. Anyone shares the same opinion?
I would assume your car is new, or you have not pushed you car to the limit much... and that the question you are asking is "why does my car seem no pick up when i suddenly pedal to the metal?"...
Most first time CVT drivers will experience the performance lag... The CVT gearbox doesnt have a set gear ratio, this is to maximise the smoothness when it goes thru the "gears", and its a continuous gearing based on the engine and pedal requirement... if you step on the pedal normally (means lightly) the CVT gearbox will choose the lowest "gear" it can and engages it...
Now when you suddenly pedal to the metal (to overtake or to simply weave thru traffic), the CVT needs to "decide" on whats happening and why, and to "downshift" to a lower gear (instead of 3 -> 2, CVT goes 3 -> 2.75 -> 2.45 -> 2.2 -> 2), thus you will feel a delay in feeling the "kick".... unlike conventional gearbox where pedal to the metal will immediately downshift (3 -> 2) and you feel the kick...
Over time, the INVECS system will also "learn" your driving habits, and will be able to respond better to your performance requirements, so the key is to drive the car as you want it to perform, and it will soon learn to suit your style... like your fren's 8 month old car.... come back 8 months and see if you have such issues again... in fact, its should smooth out in 3 months time...
One immediate way to overcome the lag, paddle shift (CVT goes from 3 -> 2) and you will get the kick...
As for lifting the accelerator a bit, this engages the torque converter, which is mainly used to prepare the engine (in D mode) for a hill climb... to feel the torque converter, try going up Genting and your Inspira will be able to take any slope with ease (even steep slopes after deep corner) without stress on the gears, you wont need to keep "kick down" the gears (as in normal gearbox) to get the power...
