My inspiring moment today...nearly kena tangkap for running red lights....these cops are hiding behind the flyover near the junction between Damansara Uptown/Damansara Jaya near the LDP. I was moving quiet slowly near the traffic light (Saya Pemandu Berhemah™ ), suddenly see yellow, then step on it!!! Managed to reach the other side when it turns red...turn right and voila...tons of cops crawling there..one fat cop was literally glued to the flyover wall to catch people....luckily i didn't get stopped...coz i think i made it over just in time for the lights to turn red....hahahaha.

Yup...booked a 2.0P...Plum Red

I signed the Vehicle Sales Order last week and today signed the 1st part of the Hire Purchase Schedule and paid the 1% booking fee.
I should get the car by end of next week...hopefully earlier. The amended Hire Purchase Act that came into force on 15 June is really slowing the process. The banks are so particular abt documentation now.

I took the 5 year warranty + RM 4k rebate option.

There are two options :

1) 5 year warranty + RM 4k discount
2) 5 year warranty + 5 year (or 100,000km) free service + low interest.

I decided to take Option 1. For me, it was better to use the 4k discount now and reduce the loan amount.
I looked through the '5 year free service' list and noticed the major service, such as CVT oil change and spark plugs will only be done towards 80,000km to 100,000km, which i thought was quite late to do so. Of course i could spend extra cash to do it earlier.

The 5 year free service is worth about RM3,900 and this is future costs saved if one is to go for Option 2. As one progresses in life, income also increases and therefore service costs can be covered. To me, it was better to offset loan amount now with RM4,000 discount as the savings is offered now and not in the future.

It will all depend on each individual...must do the numbers and see which is better

MGM: how many years warranty? still 5 years? I don't mind having a shorter period of free service, but I would want the warranty period to be longer.

Yeap basically what I was offered here was option 2, including free 5 years service. The rebate basically is more than the differential interest for the loan.

So are u goin for the June's offer. if u goin to mod then i thing the 3 yrs offer good, if not just take 5 yrs.

Came back from Inspira Test Drive. I drove the 1.8 CVT. The result is, I feel I'm being poisoned slowly. I was driving uphill Balik Pulau (pg-nites will know about this), even though I'm cruising at 100km/h, still feel the car is going very slow. On highway, I bet if I'll definitely hit 130/140 without realizing it.

There's 1 major complaint about the car though, its the sound insulation. I can't really hear the sound engine sound, but I could hear the road sound very clearly.

The salesman told me that they don't use service vouchers anymore as everything is online. Is this true? I'll still double check my agreement to see if the 5 years service is in there to support my case next time.

About the color, is there such thing as metallic white? I asked him but he told me that the color is not available.

Anyway, he hinted to me there's something big with the Saga going to happen this weekend.
