Bloody hell, pulled my right trapezius at the end of my workout on the 1st set of shrugs just now. Felt a twinge in the muscle on the 9th rep. Tried to stretch it out and do another set but it was bothering me so much I decided to end it there for today. Been rolling on a tennis ball for the past 5 minutes and now I've got an ice pack strapped to my back. Sigh, stuff like this is irritating as hell. :/

QUOTE(WSL999 @ Aug 17 2011, 09:51 AM) Just curious. What are you posting here for? Do you even workout? Or you're here just to banter? Cos the regulars here are all very nice. And I can tell you that you're slightly getting on their nerves. |

No la bro. I do very light weights only. Empty barbells and empty leg press machine. A lot of guys here can smash out a better volume and more intense routine.
However, it was stupid doin front squats after delta ytd, my shoulders are b****ing like crazy |

QUOTE(Alphaproject @ Aug 17 2011, 12:48 PM) sandbaggin? I wish man, I wish. Anyway, today was the first time I front squat. Really does alleviate a lot of the lower back pressure I get from the back squats. Why are you having difficulty with front squats? Care to elaborate? I'm pretty sure guys that front squat a lot should be able to help you out. If I've not mistaken, Dan does front squats This post has been edited by razorboy: Aug 17 2011, 01:02 PM |

My lower back n knee doesn't feel right... guess take a break from that for a while... Rack DLs,put the safety bar at knee level. Do a regular DL but stop on top of the safety bar and pull from there. Rack squats, put the safety bar slightly above parallel or at a degree that you are comfortable with and squat from there. Box squats would be good too. Certainly helped me out a lot when my back wasn't so nice to me. |
