QUOTE(tanjinjack @ Sep 12 2011, 04:02 PM) Yes, they are indeed high but that doesn't mean they only admit those who really meet the requirement. Try emailing the postgraduate admission tutor for your course. Chances are, if you do not meet the requirement, they'll call you for interviews to determine if you really fit to be our student. If the course is new, it's quite likely they'll take below the entry requirement to boost up the student count. If they have met their target of student count, less likely they'll take those who are under the requirement. LOL Just a student. If 1.5 out of 4 translates into a 2:2 (second lower) then you might still have a chance. Else I don't think they will take you, unless you have some other quality that they will appreciate, like some solid working experience, technical certification etc.

By the way.. just want to ask.. hows the studying life there?? Do you guys got many activities .. clubs .. outing etc??? cause MSc tutorial and classes in a week usualy very short period... alot of free time ..... also... how many what is the majority races there?? as in mostly what race studying there?? cause i heard theres many foreign students but little local students....

A know a lot of 'better' UK universities take Second Upper class as the minimum requirement for postgraduate masters.
As for population break down, about 50:50 locals to foreign, though the apparent ratio should be lower due to their strong presence. Majority locals are chinese. Majority foreigner are indians and middle easterns.

You will need to come back to Malaysia and graduate here if you are taking the mobility program. If your course is a 3 years course then you can only go there in your second year. To graduate in the UK campus you will need to go for the transfer program, in which you will need to pay the UK tuition fees.

Welcome! For the student number, probably a few of them - surely there is more than one la. (To be honest, didn't even know that course exists if you haven't had introduce yourself here.) Don't be surprised if you can count them in one hand, it's a new course. And I think you probably don't get to go China as well. They don't offer that. Check out UK website also. If they do not have that course, you cannot do mobility as well. (One of the examples is Mechatronics, which is only available here but not in the UK.)

Hi guys, regarding the Form L, it needs me to fill in my student number. Just to confirm, the student number is not the Index no. in my offer letter right? Which means I can only complete the Form L after I get my student number?

School of Psychology has quite a number of students already-- but not sure about numbers in that specific course. *sigh* Still waiting for an offer letter! Admin says should be today (my dad had to literally yell at them before we got anything >.<), but I am wondering if it's that simple....
