Crediting of Cash Rebates earned in July & August 2011

Cash Rebates earned monthly with the UOB ONE Card will be automatically credited into the Cardmember’s immediate monthly statement of account. However, in the month of July and August 2011, Cash Rebates earned will be credited in the Cardmember’s August and September 2011 statement of accounts respectively.

Didn't get Classic ONE card but get UOB Platinum card ???? but you will lose out on the rebates

Can we opt for the UOB One Classic, even we qualify for the UOB One Platinum ?
How does the UOB One Classic card look like ?

Want to get the UOB One Classic just for Petrol rebate ;-)

i bet they dont have uob one classic... i apply classic also they gv me platinum

If don't have, why would they list it on their website.... anybody have the UOB ONE Classic card ?

The classic looks exactly the same as the platinum card, just without the word "Platinum"

Among my family members, so yes i have seen each of them

mine still the old type of one plat.



already cancelled (confirmed) once before by phone.

then 2 weeks later saw new features, call them back and ask to continue.
cs ask me if i already cut the card so they will send the new 1 with new num, but i said the card is still ok, so just re-activate it.
annual fee is free for life (got b&w), govt tax for this year waived (credited back) if swipe 3x within a month of re-activation.

I called them to cancel because i dont want to get GST charged. 2 weeks later someone called me and offer GST waiver if i perform atleast 1 transaction any amount within 3 months..with condition i have to pay the GST 1st only they credit back next month.
I decline the offer then he say ok no need any transaction but still need to pay GST 1st only will credit back to me..so im ok la anyway i can keep it as backup..
So later i didnt went to pay the GST until yesterday i called up to check got any late payment charge for the GST or not, and the CS inform me no interest coz they straight waive for me

while i'm cancelling this card boz got so many card, and previously the petrol rebates only at bhp and 2% only

Added on October 12, 2011, 12:09 pmbut then they come out with 5% at all petrol station, plus 2% smart$ cash at bhp, which equal to 7%. nice!

so just keep this card

Hi everyone,

I have work for just few months. Am i eligible to apply the ONE credit card? i hear that it needs at least 3 months of working in other banks. what about this bank? izzit the same? any extra documents i must submit?

For my case, UOB contacted my company's HR to verify my job status and work attitude. Maybe just to confirm if I'm really working there. Provided last 3 months payslips & bank statements, no EPF statement submitted.

Still waiting for PIN to arrive (it's been 2 weeks), should have just gone to nearest bank to get it.

I am still waiting for the $88 rebate (One Card launch offer when they advertised on paper) since I got the card in 26 July.

oh. just dont have platinum word.
