UOB ONE Platinum min salary requirement is only RM 36k p.a.?

I justed applied UOB ONE Platinum.

The bank agent said:
- RM 88 will be credited in 2nd bill.
- Annual fee will be waived for first 5 years.

Cannot be since the annual fee they charge is RM 388.

That one I'm not so sure since I couldn't get any details from UOB website.

I inquired if UOB got offset the RM 50 GST. The bank agent told me that RM 88 will be awarded in the 2nd bill for offseting purchasing but he didn't mention any min spending.

I know what you meant but from UOB site, I can only find RM 88 rebate for UOB Preferred Platinum.

Regarding the RM 88 rebate, it's eligible to all new UOB CC applications.

As for the 5-year annual fee waiver for UOB ONE Platinum, one needs to satisfy two requirements:

1. One swipe for every month
2. Annual amount to reach RM 3k.

Why don't submit an online application? I think such facility is available.

How about UOB One Platinum? Shared the same appearance too?

The cash back for petrol is limited to RM 30 per month.

I'm planning to replace my Visa Petronas with this one.

But it'll be another Visa again.

It has stately clearly under Benefits:

Cash Rebates earned will automatically offset your UOB ONE Card balance of the month.
There are no minimum purchase requirements
Cash Rebates are eligible for Petrol and Groceries monthly purchases of up to RM600 and RM1,500 respectively. For the other purchases in the Rebate Category, you can earn Cash Rebates there is no limit to the purchase amount.
Cash Rebates are earned and credited back into the respective UOB ONE Card that was used in he purchase. For example, Cash Rebates will be credited back to the supplementary Cardmember’s account if the supplementary card was used in the retail transaction.

I also confirmed with UOB CS but they did mention the later section of the requirement.

I applied at booth also get thermal flask.

Last weekend at Queensbay Mall.

The agents are from UOB Bukit Mertajam.

The booth was at the LG floor in front of Jusco supermarket.

The agent told me that last weekend was last day. Not sure if he tried to cheat me.

I called UOB CS to check on my application status. They received the application and under processing.

Then just few minutes after the call, another lady called me and asked several questions that I felt offended:

1. Ask my mailing address.
2. Why I work at another state but the mailing address is different.
3. Where I work? Didn't I state that in the form?
4. When she can call me to my office phone? I asked why such call is necessary. She said wanted to verify the office phone.

I feel like that I don't want to use this card anymore due to the above unfriendly approach!

That lady tried to call me at around 2pm but I already told her that my job doesn't allow to sit at my cubicle all the time. At the end, I missed the call again!
