MBB 2 Cards FREE For Life, no need call for annual fee waiver.

So I guess if I was you I will cancel the UOB and save me the hassle to go call them for annual fee waiver.

If You Request the PIN for ATM Withdrawal or Sign up for Online Banking...

Then, You Need to Call CS ask them Generate PIN for ATM Withdrawal They will Send the PIN by Post within 1 Week then You can use that Pin at ATM... nod.gif

A noobish question here, has anyone paid their UOB credit card bill through another bank?

Let's say I have a Citibank account, all I have to do is to do funds transfer from my Citibank savings account to the UOB credit card number right? Or is paying the UOB card with a Citi card possible?

Tried applying for a savings account at UOB just to pay off the bills but they said I need RM2k on hand to do so, unless there is an existing car or housing loan.

you can't use a credit card to pay off another credit card.

online giro transfer from citibank to uob is however possible.

I have fed-up with UOB credit card, really hopeless with their cash rebates policy...
Initially I applied the UOB one credit card coz of 5% petrol rebate for RM500 of usage, so got the UOB One "Classic Card" 2011. That time it seems no differences in cash rebate between the Classic and Platinum Card, so I was fine using it.

In year 2012 dunno effective which month, the petrol rebate for Classic Card suddenly capped to RM20.00 (RM400 usage), and their terms and conditions suddenly revised and stated clearly for the Classic Card rebates. Fine, I keep using it.

This month, received latest statement and found Petrol Rebate at RM15.00, I was shocked. Quickly go to their website and found a new revised terms and conditions dated 1-Aug-2013. This time the Petrol rebate capped to RM15.00 (RM300 usage).

I was really fed-up, as initially I tot this UOB card's cash rebate doesn't have a "promotion period" like other bank. But it seems they also practice the same, silently cutting down rebate from time-to-time to current cardholder. I will consider changing to another bank.

Got to go update above in post No.1.

Yeah, UOB keep changing the so called "standard" features of their credit cards (and other T&C like annual fee waiver) but same can be said for SCB and Citibank too.
